Interesting.

I seem to recall, five or six years ago, Republicans saying that if you don't fully support the President, you're with the terrorists.

I wonder what dark shadow could have blackened the hearts of these people.

I apologize for forgetting about the Tea Party's black friend.

Face it, if he were any more of a token, his tour bus would have been a giant Chuck E Cheese claw machine.

Happy Independence Day you American Farkers!

To honor this day,

- I will spell "honor" without the "u" you deem superfluous.
- I won't mention any thing that Canada do better than the US
- I will drink a watery American beer (perhaps a dozen) in your honor this evening

I'm sure this had nothing to do with his race, or his perceived religion, but rather was a pointed rebuttal about what they felt are his failed domestic and foreign policies.

NFA: Remember back in the days of Reagan when Republican talk radio hosts where outraged at civilized criticism of a sitting president? They claimed it was anti-American and typical of the "Left".

That's different! Civilized criticism of a sitting Republican has no place in public discourse!

you send Death Threats to the Dixie Chicks? Damn, that's farked up. You certainly should apologize.

Dumb troll gonna troll. Don't you have a family? Go spend time with them.

Because he's the hero [America] deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight.

Zombie Butler: I wonder, if I had laid down an American flag (to keep my feet from getting cow and horse shiat all over my boots) and walked over to the effigy to tap it lightly on the head with a bat that said , "you should've kept the public option" what would these fine participants in free speech would've said. It's always free speech when you agree.

/free speech is free speech

/I doubt I would made it to the parking lot.

they'd probably have no idea what you're talking about. Then they'd kill you for stepping on the flag

Turn off the Tragically Hip and crank some Springsteen while your at it.

I hate to fit the cliche but The Hip are actually my favorite band. I don't like Rush so there's that (many Canadians don't). Not a Springsteen fan but I understand why he is worshiped. How about I crank up the Black Keys or Jack White.

yeah, my "team" is a bunch of Obama effigy abusing hillbillies at a rodeo in Tennessee

It's not my fault that your "team" is a bunch of whining pussies.

Maybe it's that the guy who's near the Big Red Button is a person who annoys them with his constant monkeying around, and that he's a person of colorful rhetoric more than substance.

Reagan? Hell, I remember being called a traitor, being told to leave the country, being told that it was people like me that threaten the greatness of Murika, and all kinds of other awful things for questioning decisions made by The Bush Administration, and questioning the motives of Dick Cheney. I'd say it was right up until Jan 2009 that anything less than lockstep allegiance to the POTUS was tantamount to treason. Not sure what happened that month, but something completely changed their minds about criticism of the POTUS.
