well there was one thing he got right

He didn't trust Pacey and for good reason. Of course it was Dawson who called the Cruise house every night and hung up.

I've had enough of Tom Cruise. If there's somebody representing that putz viewing this thread, please tell Maverick there that rest assured that the only way I'll ever see one of his cinematic ego-trips would be if I'm bound and gagged and bodily carried into the theater.

I don't like Tom Cruise, but I'll give him points for that.

Now let's see if he can get Maggie Gyllenhaal digitally added to all the Rachel Dawes scenes in Batman Begins.

The creep-factor is high with this one - every picture of Cruise and whatever wife shows Cruise holding the woman close; what a controlling bag of douche.

Blech. My wife and I, when the Joker called her beautiful, couldn't help but ask aloud "Her?" On the other hand, it was nice of the author in Stranger in Fiction to write such an amazingly unattractive and off-putting girlfriend for her protagonist. Completely believable that, given his milquetoast persona, he'd fall for her.

She was just as terrible as Holmes in TDK. A better idea would be to digitally replace Katie Holmes with Charlize Theron sitting on my face.

Reunion movie. Big difference. If there's one thing to STFU and listen to Tom Cruise about, it's how not to completely f*ck yourself out of an acting career.

Stranger Than Fiction surprised me. I actually rather enjoyed that one.

Not acting-wise.

Holmes was as wooden as the stuff Christian Bale was putting on the well in TDK. Gyllenhaal - whatever one may say about her physical appearance - came there to act.

Your mileage may vary, naturally.

Yeah I said the same thing to the GF, maybe if she lives in the Twilight Zone episode "The Eye of the Beholder" she would be beautiful but not in our world.

She's a good actress though.

He's just as icky. Although both of them seem like good people, are good actors, and can more than carry a movie by themselves, I just don't understand why we are constantly told they are attractive. It's like they're skilled versions of Sarah Jessica Parker. Just let them be the Buscemis and Lorres they are clearly meant to be.

While I'm no prize myself, I don't understand the love for this woman, she's an odd looking person. She can act but that face is....just odd. She looks like a little old lady without the wrinkles.

She has very "interesting" earlobes. If she keeps wearing earrings like that her lobes will be seen on satelite imagery when she's 70.

The only thing Katie Holmes brought to Batman Begins was the scene where her nipples were visible through a sheer shirt. Maggie Gyllenhaal is one of those people who can either look incredibly sexy or incredibly fugly given the makeup and lighting, but at least she is capable of acting.

I knew Heath Ledger was a great actor when he looked at her in The Dark Knight and uttered the line: "Well, hello, beautiful. You must be Harvey's squeeze. And you *are* beautiful." and was able to keep a straight face.

Then again, he was wearing joker makeup so it was hard to tell.

Wow, that's actually a fairly flattering pic of her.

But she can act, and good actresses are very hard to find, so she gets a pass.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is not my favorite, but she's pretty far up the list.

It's not so much her looks. It's the sense that she would do nasty, depraved, unspeakable things and talk shiat to me while doing them.

Maybe it was her role in "Secretary." I don't know. But I have a feeling that she would ruin me if I ever had the chance. Ergo, she's near the top.

I own that movie. They're both gross in a hot way in that one.

With Ms. Gyllenhaal, it's all about the eyes. I'd gleefully drown in them all of the day long.

And unlike Mr. Cruise, she can act. Example A: see "SherryBaby" at your earliest convenience.

I haven't bought a ticket for a Cruise film since "Interview With The Vampire".
