I lasted up until he started talking about college, when I realized he was just going to keep going. And I stopped right there, because that was getting... impositive. It was imposing on me to listen to his long-winded diatribe about whatever the fark he was trying to get to.

\still have an all-blue era Expos hat, for no other reason than I liked the logo but hated the clown hat
\\my brother got to wear the clown hat in all its glory in little league, actually....

According to Facebook, the Montreal Expos, who haven't existed for eight seasons, have 146,847 fans on Facebook.

And the Washington Nationals, despite the best record in the National League, have 164,993.

Olympic Stadium was and is a white elephant with a slanted tusk that cost a billion and a half dollars and wasn't fully paid off until two years after the Expos left town. The roof wasn't completed in time for the 1976 Olympics

Because it didn't need to be - according to Olympic rules, track and field events have to be competed outdoors.

After reading the whole thing...I hope Tim Raines goes in to the Hall (as he should have already) as a White Sox just to piss this guy off.

I miss the Expos. You could go catch a game for less than $10 and sit pretty much anywhere you wanted. Good times

/However my toilet is better looking than Olympic Stadium

in 1988 the roof worked, then got stuck later that season

I really miss the Expos. Losing them when I was 12 put me off baseball for years. That, and having my home AAA team, the Calgary Cannons, get stolen by Albuquerque about a year after the Simpsons had an episode about Springfield's team moving there. The douches even renamed the team the Isotopes. Now that I'm a Jays fan, Rogers Centre will probably get hit by a comet

I started following the Expos when I came to Montreal in 2001. As a student, you could get a $4 ticket and have no problem sitting on the baseline or behind the plate. Best value in town. They had a pretty good team in 2003 too.
