I didn't think you could fit that much pussy into a jeep...

Jeeze, and I thought my Subaru, with 4 cats, had a lot.

He stuffed 30 cats into only two containers? I can barely get one cat into one carrier when it's vet time. That's some serious cat Tetris.

That's a lot of work. Why can't the mechanic just, you know, work around them?

/dude in TFA is a complete asshat, should EABOD and DIAF

Well, that's one way to discourage them from rummaging through your change tray.

Cats were well seasoned with all the urine and feces...anyway, I think the dude could have found a box or some other container so the cats wouldn't be so pack in.

At least the cats are finding homes, and the guy agreed that he needed help. In a roundabout way, it ends well (if he gets the help he needs, too).

Still, people are dipshiats when it comes to animals. Yesterday, during yet another of the near-triple-digit temps in DC, I heard an announcement inside the store..."Would the owner of a GMC Denali, License plate XXXXXX come to the service desk?"

A few minutes later, I came out, and saw a teenager sitting inside the open door of a $50K SUV, with a heavily-panting Lab sitting under the truck on the (shaded) pavement.

Which means....

1) Somebody left their dog in their truck when the OUTSIDE temps where near 100 degrees.
2) Instead of leaving the teenager (and dog) in the truck with the AC running, they BOTH went in the store, leaving the dog locked up.
3) When they got called out on it....the best they could do was to let the dog sit on the shaded pavement (which was probably over 100 degrees - it's shaded....but only because your truck is sitting on it. It was already baking in the sun).

Folks, what is SO important that you can't take even BASIC care of your dog? (Rule #1 - Don't kill it).

I wonder how many were named Manny, Moe or Jack?

But not Paul, I mean what a silly name for a cat!

I own a cat and a Jeep, so I'm really getting a kick out of these responses.

one more person that needs killing.

Some people just don't understand how jeeps work. Hamsters running in wheels power the engine. If you don't have cats to frighten the hamsters the car won't run.

Please do leave the roaches in the ash tray, though.

So a man takes his vehicle to the shop to get it working so his cats wouldn't be so hot, and but the shop won't work on it with cats in the vehicle, while y'all are yelling at him for leaving his cats in a hot vehicle, which wouldn't have been hot if the shop would have fixed it, so the cops come and charge him with 50 offenses while someone else steals all his cats.

That'll teach him to seek help next time.

They're not dipshiats; they're assholes. And the level of empathy they exhibit is strong evidence for psychopathy.

Do not trust someone who is cruel to animals -- with anything or anyone.

The cats are fine, but the Jeep had to be put to sleep.
