My take on it, for what it's worth (Nothing but whatever).

GD needs to be legit and honest about her business and buy an ad w/ Fark, and stop using its huge user base to promote her business for nothing in return. If I'm Drew, I'm thinking, "Okay a one time plug in a thread or a link to your site in your profile, no big deal, but regularly coming into threads to solicit? No way."

As for [redacted], I've been a mod on a website and there's just no making people happy sometimes. You have to be the referee and make unpopular calls sometimes, and ultimately, we don't own Fark. Drew does and by extension, the mods and admins represent him, and he has to have their backs. There are far more users who don't know/care about this whole thing and many more who will sign up and continue on without [redacted] or any of us. My being here for nearly 10 years means nothing. I don't own Fark, I don't make the rules, and I don't enforce them. Frankly I think [redacted] needs to move on and go to Reddit or something.

ShiningWizard: Masterstuff: Sounds like some divas are getting pissed and not taking it anymore. Good. I'm tired of the WWE putting ALL their chips behind one diva.

/bitter Nattie and Beth fan

I agree Nattie and Beth deserve WAY better than what they have been given to work with, especially Nattie. But I will withold judgement until after a few episodes of the new 3 hour Raw are in the can. With the extra time to fill every week I will give the promotion a chance to see if they expand the divas role into the new segment. Word has it AJ is getting a star's push beyond the Punk/Bryan angle and they can't do that without some other women on the roster getting some air time as well.

I feel like if it gets the divas division moving again then the entire AJ-expanded-role-thingy will be more than worth it. Yes I know creative can still botch the entire thing and that would be par for the course but I prefer to biatch after things go south rather than before.

Nice alt.

robsul82: FirstNationalBastard: Let's face it... Miss Liz was eye candy, and added almost nothing.

The audience cared deeply about Miss Elizabeth in those days, man. Go rewatch the aftermath of Savage/Warrior and see if that audience felt she "added almost nothing."

Y'know, I was going to mention Savage/Warrior, because that was one of the few times Liz was part of an angle and it wasn't just as the simpering damsel in distress that was nothing but a prop for people to fight over.

The Savage/Warrior angle was gold. From the beginnings of it at Royal Rumble through Savage and Liz reuniting at the end of the match, there wasn't a misstep along the way.

/hell, even the match was good, even though it was a Warrior match.

Looks like Smiths will get some justice after the calling of said aw-ing yesterday.

I'm all for perversion on Fark, hell I live for the threads that become a big fun bag fest, but when I see that certain name, it just kills any fun in reading and posting on this site for me...I just of just go "ugh" because it's like Cena's 5 moves of doom:

1. "Ohhiguys!"
2. Certain girl on topic "I like her but about me..."
3. Posts saggy photo of herself
4. Some mark falls for it "oh wow!"
5. Pimping of site and wishlists begins.

I'm off to IHOP now for some pancakes.

Is it possible for AJ to distract all 20 guys in the match? Assuming SyFy won't let her get naked anyway

Vince has been keeping up on the Supreme Court's ruling on Arizona...

Of course, he's in Texas, so this makes no sense.

I, too, agree with Dougie's policy of saying as little as possible so as not to be Benoited. That may be the only thing we agree on.

Now, back to Doink...

At Wrestlemania IX, It was Steve Keirn (aka Skinner) who portrayed mirror Doink. Also, teve Lombardi worked as Doink at some point.

I may do some digging to try to find out exactly when the Bourne to Apollo switch happened, and if that coincided with Doink's ill-advised face turn.

Doink history.... it's serious shiat.

Gunny Highway: FirstNationalBastard: Since WWE is using a classic NWA/WCW PPV name tonight, I think we should take a moment to remember some fine classic wrestlers, some of whom are no longer with us...

*hang head*

You are missed.

Well, only the top two are gone... Grizzly Smith died in 2010, Davey Boy Smith died in 2002. However, J.T. Smith, and Sam Houston (aka Michael Smith, son of Grizzly Smith, brother of Jake Roberts (Aurelian Smith) and Rockin' Robin Smith) are both still alive, as are Jake and Robin.

Also, Speaking of Grizzly and his progeny, you could really say that the Smith family provided us with a lot of great moments over the years. Grizzly was also a booker in WCW, and was responsible for a lot of Cactus Jack's run. And Jake... Jake had a great mind for the business, but dulled it with too many chemicals. And Robin... well, she botched America The Beautiful at Wrestlemania V.

The Smith family... they had a tremendous impact wherever they were.
