J. Frank Parnell: Said it before and i'll say it again: degrees are helpful for getting hired, but not required to start a business yourself.Instead of going in debt for the degree, learn everything on your own, and go in debt to start your business. The worst that can happen is you'll end up as a cashier paying off the loan, like so many college graduates.
CatalystGhost: Yeah, except you won't have a degree to utilize to eventually dig your way out of that hole. At least if you have some college experience you have a higher potential to get a decent career.
Arkanaut: Yeah, I don't think most basket-weaving majors who dropped out of Reed College are multi-millionaires.
angstycoder: Who is Gates Zuckerberg?
