"He was crying when he was up there," she said. "I could see the tears and the snot running down his face."

I would have pretended like I was going to catch him, but then unfortunately fail. Still get called a hero for trying, without all that snot getting all over me,

That's old school.

She spun him on his head, and pretended he was a campfire she was warming her hands over while he spun.

"I said: 'It's OK, baby; if you fall, I will catch you,' " Kristen Beach recounted.

I've been shot at, stabbed, had to fight for my life and stared down murderers but just the thought of being in that womans position scares the holy fack out of me tenfold compared to most of what I have been through in my life! The thought of not succeeding in catching the little ankle biter and him sustaining life long injuries or worse makes me a little ill to my stomach.

What people say about having your own little rug rats changing your perspective on things is no joke, two years ago I would have read that and thought good job lady compared to my current thought process.

Did the kid go real limp so the lady thought he looked like a dummy?

farkinlovit: if they tested both the rescuer and the parent; I bet one of them would have tested positive for meth. The arrested was most likely the clean one. Just another reason why YOU'RE BROKE JACKSON COUNTY. Screw over the people who actually work to support your crappy form of justice, and let the tweakers run around. Because that's how you get paid, right?

She knew the boy didn't have the strength to pull himself back up onto the roof because she spent about two minutes talking to him while he just hung there.

So, nice day we're having!
