Yeah, a lot of times people push people and they fall and hit their heads and can be very injured or die - not what the pusher intended but who pushes an old lady! That's the opposite of how society is supposed to work.

Quasar is correct, here, the headline is crap. The woman wasn't "beat until she nearly died", at most she was pushed and struck her head. It still takes a special kind of asshole to push an old woman over, but she wasn't "beat".

I was playing golf with a couple of friends, when my buddy hit a line drive that one-hopped a goose in the head, ending its career as a fairway fertilizer. All the other geese circled around the golf ball, hissing. My friend said that there was no way he was going to get near his shot, and prepared to hit another ball.

Our other friend, who is HUGE (we called him Tiny, he went on to a career in pro wrestling) told him he was a pussy, and that he'd retrieve his ball. The last we saw of him he was running for his cart, and those geese chased him all the way to the clubhouse door. They hung outside waiting for him like a scene from "The Birds". He finally had to leave at closing time, and they chased him to his truck. Geese are vindictive farkers.
