(Business Insider)   So, it turns out that Mitt Romney's largest financial supporter, Sheldon Adelson, is personally involved with prostitution, bribery, and international criminals. I'm sure he'll make an excellent Commerce Secretary   ( divider line

ox45tallboy: "So my voice amuses you? Is that what you're saying? You think I got a clown voice? You associate me with this f*ck?"

"Who the f*ck is that? Pesci? What the f*ck? Get the f*ck out of my thread before I buy your studio and have you hanging wallpaper on the set of some indie movie with the ghost of Kevin Costner's career! I'll have you stuck in a hot tub with a naked Kathy Bates so fast you won't know what hit you!"

s2s2s2: Philip Francis Queeg: So tell us, what did Bill and Barry have to do with your anger that Adelson hasn't been prosecuted, and how was that expressed in your post?

My complaint was making excuses for "your team". It's my team, too. But I don't let my son get away with doing shiatty things just because he is my son. I suggest you learn to read and not supplant context with your own.

The most important thing about this thread is that you are able to feel superior to everyone else that posts. I am glad this thread is able to accomplish that for you, please dont forget to Vote Republican in November.

beth_lida: Mitt doesn`t care where his contributions come from, only that they come in at least hundreds of thousands.

"'Hundreds of thousands'? Are you f*cking kidding me? You can't get a f*cking thank-you note for less than seven figures. It's half a mil just to eat a sh*tty chicken dinner with five hundred other f*cks in the same room as him. Hundreds of thousands. It's f*cking 2012, for chrissake."

clkeagle: On the one hand, this doesn't bother me too much. Knowing that Adelson made his fortune in casinos makes it pretty obvious he's involved in all kinds of things. And since these things are more-or-less legal in Macau, it's almost a non-story.

"You bring up a good point. What the f*ck do you people care? This is in some other country. Anyone else, and you'd be saying, 'Oh, wow, what a nice guy, he's making sh*t -tons of money off the foreigners, and bringing it all back here and spending it in the United States. How much more American do you want, than robbing other people blind and bringing the money back here?"

Well that certain makes your initial entry into this thread even stupider than it was before.

BarrRepublican: Sheldon is the most offensive stereotype I've seen since Blackface. A complete discredit to geek culture everywhere.

There are a bunch of old people who do nothing but laugh at his semi-incoherent drivel about kicking it "old school" with N64.

The GOP voter base.

"Who the f*ck are you calling a stereotype? You ever see a jew give this much money away before?"

s2s2s2: Philip Francis Queeg: Bill and Barry who?

Bloody William: Want to start over?

I mean that we've heard stories of every president dealing with shady characters when it comes to funding. Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, George Bush.

They have all been connected to shady finance. When it was Bill and Barry, the response seemed to be "ZOMG: Politicians have to deal with shady people to save the world! Bid Deal."

I'm fine with prosecuting* everyone involved in such associations. I'm not ok with giving some people a pass with the excuse that "that is just how politics is done".

*2 continue with (a course of action) with a view to its completion.

Ah, so it was a really weak, "Both sides are the bad" with a touch of :"Bu...bu...But Clinton!" thrown in.

The guy is also quite fond of the Chinese and their money, and that doesn't mesh well with Mitt's China bashing.

Follow the money and all that.

I keep forgetting it's ok when they do it.

/It's not ok when any of them do it.
//Selective prosecution is killing us.

Want to start over? It's Monday morning, you're probably just getting into work, you need to put something together with more substance.
