Thankfully, I can still get these at a place that sells retro candy.

This link makes me sound fat.

No not really. Not unless you like a specific local brand, which most people don't. Snickers and Zero are awesome though, almond joy also.

Would it make you feel better if we put pink ribbons on all the wrappers?

DRTFA, but agreed. My best candy was purchased at the tiny L&M mini-grocery store (pre-convenience stores) in Parsons, Kansas. I still go for M&Ms or a Heath Bar.

Tell you what, I had nearly every Wacky Packages available at the time, too. Yeah my lawn. No, I haven't mowed it in about a week now.

Do they sell Applets & Cotlets outside of Washington? I don't recall ever seeing them anywhere else, but those are my favorite candy by far.

I also really like a Rocky Road bar. Didn't realize those were from San Francisco. They're great when they're fresh, but if they've been sitting on a shelf too long they get too rubbery and it's like eating a chocolate covered tire.

I was trying to find a place that sold British candy around here but no luck. I've been intrigued at what a chocolate lime tastes like or just British candy in general. As for American, for me it's Starburst, Sour Skittles or Reeses Peanut Butter cups.

If your ever in Houston near Montrose, go to The Chocolate Bar. They have chocolate covered strawberries or rice krispie treats that are awesome.

Huh, grew up in Wisconsin and never had a Melty Bar. Live in Minneapolis now, never had a nut goodie.

Now, deep fry me a fifth avenue and ill remember my trip to Hershey PA when I was five. Om.

A Hershey bar is still a favorite candy? Sour-flavored chocolate-colored carpenter's putty? There are so many better forms of chocolate out there, I just don't know what to say.

Blasphemer! Circus Peanuts are awesome! But you have to open the package and let them get stale a day or two or they're just nasty.

The type of candy I like changes over time and sometimes I go years without eating any.

So I guess I am from all kinds of places including nowhere at all. All at the same time.

All of it.

For an interesting change try freezing it then slapping it on the counter...you get nice little cold shards of chew.

Of the five Walmarts within half an hour, one sells that rice candy... even though it's the furthest away... I head out there about once a month to load up.

It's a great little candy to just eat slowly and relax.
