I'm no ordinance expert, but smashing windows with a missile doesn't seem very smart or effective.

When I attack a convenience store, I usually wield Mr. Bungle.

Ringo was right, why would anyone stick up a convenience store? They couldn't have all that much money and they're usually run by swarthy brown people with itchy trigger fingers.

Was baffled to learn tomahawks were used to execution. Still am really. "How many throws does it take to get to the gooey brain center of a gooey brain? The world may never know." Because they arrested these guys.

Throwing a tomahawk is a 'last resort' tactic. Sure, it gets practiced a lot for rendezvous and primitive biathlon competitions, because hey, throwing a small ax is cool, but generally you wouldn't have done it for real, not if you had any other option.

How do you rob a store wielding Tony Hawk?

Bet they were Tea Partiers. Those guys have a long history of dressing up like Indians to cause property damage.

Yea, throwing your weapon, while cool-looking in the movies, is not the best move one can make in combat.

Officer recognized the tomahawk from an earlier traffic stop. i say give him a medal for being the honest one. all through my youth i saw cops 'confiscate' whatever caught their eye as they had a license to steal. taking a blade or other weapon i understand. Cops that relieve young people of jewelry, wrist bands and whatever swag they want help assure a fresh crop of law enforcement haters rise up through the ranks.

Every time I see someone throwing any weapon in a movie, I can't help but think of the William Wallace Vs Shaka Zulu episode of Deadliest Warrior.

Zulu warrior: ZULU! *hurls throwing stick at a melon*
Scot warrior: "Well now, that's an excellent way to disarm yourself."
