Took my dad to see Avengers yesterday, I was surprised how full the theater was for a 2 month old movie. We actually had to look for seats next to each other.

Saw it last night with my lady friend. Definitely brought the lols. Was actually expecting it to be more raunchy and there were a few parts I felt genuinely emotionally invested in a talking teddy bear.

Some people don't want to be cooped up in their houses all day, so they want somewhere to go. Since the theaters are nice and cool, a movie is a good summertime activity when it's particularly hot. That's why the AC matters.

No, it is a must see. It is hilarious! Please, every one that loves family guy should see it. And everyone that just wants to laugh. I laughed so much yesterday when I saw it. I am so glad it is making a lot of money. It is good that GI joe was moved to next year. If it came out on Friday like it was supposed to and Ted came out on July 13th then it might not have done as well.

Flash Gordon was a nice touch, but Snora Jones was not.

I went and saw Prometheus instead, and got my own kind of laughs from it. How can you not among squid babies, vagina worms and characters who are blithering idiots?

Don't believe that to be true. According to IMDB and other sources it was released on 9/28. Also, 9/12 was a Wednesday which does not generally have a lot of movies released.

The more storms really worries me. More are expected today. I couldn't get any kind of estimate from DP&L short of it will be less than the 3+ weeks from when Hurricane Ike hit Ohio to not any time before July 4. I hate DP&L. Seriously, hate them. But your AEP sounds like no picnic. I just looked them up, and they still have almost half-a-million without power.

Yes, it sure takes a lot of education and mental acuity to understand fart, poop, rape, and retard jokes, not to mention 80s pop culture references. I didn't bother to read any comments, so this may have been said.

The movie wasn't bad, but I thought the subtle moments of comedy were a lot funnier than what the theater was laughing at. I think its because about 5 minutes in I realized that this movie is a live action family guy episode. Seth writes it the exact same way, cut outs and all (cut outs = fantasies). So you could tell what was coming next, which made it unfunny where the jokes were inserted. Im pretty sure most, if not all, of the voice actors had roles in the movie.

Also, I hate Marky Mark.

Why not have a big tank in the attic that can hold a weeks worth of water? Gravity will still work if your electricity goes out?

No attic, just a crawl space. There is also the issue of freezing. I know that's not an issue now, but it was when our power was knocked out for nearly two weeks during and ice storm. I like this thinking, though. I will admit that I was hoping some farkers might have some good ideas. This is getting to be monotonously frequent.

In Family Guy Brian isn't the one who causes problems with Peter and Lois's relationship, Peter is, Brian is most often part of the solution.

Rodger does cause problems but usually not with Stan and Francine unless hes screwing up a plan Stan started.

Yes Ted is very derivative of past McFarlane work. If you don't like his TV shows you probably won't like the movie. He is pretty much Peters sense of humor with Brians intellect and Rodgers party habits stuffed in a teddy bear. Me? I'm not an uptight asshole so I found it pretty funny, then again I'm pretty much Seth's target audience. Same age so his 80's culture references strike the same note for me that they do for him. Fun movie, not oscar material or anything but amusing.
