(notices an awful lot of wrist injuries)(tells Nick to stop jerking the Johnson quite so hard and fast)

Some guys can't fight through pain. You look at guys like Ripken and Rose, and wonder how they managed to fight through the pain while guys like Johnson seem to go down with a case of the sniffles. I blame it on the parents for pampering kids as children.

Stains and contusions should not be a reason for a DL stint.

\Shame, too, because Johnson had potential to be a really good offensive asset (high OBP).

That is the dumbest shiat I have heard in a while.

It all depends on the extent of the injury and how long it is going to take you to recover, not all strains and contusions are the same. If your wrist is sprained to the point that you can't swing a bat, let alone hold one, or throw a ball, then you aren't any use to the team and they should put you on the DL to recover so they can bring up a healthy person to fill your spot on the roster.

Is it really a streak if it's not in a row?

You mean like the time he broke his femur? broken right hand? broken cheek bone? The guy is made from shiat, but It's not exactly sniffles here.

/and he's from the same family as Larry Bowa, so there's toughness in his family tree.
