Depends on whose juice is better.

Bronzed War God: Depends on whose juice is better doesn't show up on the test.

I want to believe there are clean riders but you're probably right.

It will probably be Evans again this year since the course favors him.

If Lance goes down, outside of last year's winner, who was the last number 1 to keep their title? I'm still going to watch, I love the announcing, but I can't think of who it would be.

I'm stuck at work. Is there a feed out there somewhere?

On my ride in this morning I got behind a guy on a Specialized Shiv with Di2 and aero Easton wheels. Gorgeous bike.

I'm going with the field. I'd like to see Tony Martin or some other long shot win it.

Cancellara beats Wiggins by seven seconds, and looks set to take yellow this evening.

Thank you so much.
I'm thinking Wiggins for the over all. The course really suits him.

The local Saturday ride was huge today. Reminds me of how you see a ton of runners in the first couple weeks of January before everyone says "fark new years resolutions."

I don't think Lance is going to go down. If there was any physical evidence it would have happened already. So it's just going to come down to a one person's word against another.

SPARTUS!

/did they x-ray his bike?

Considering Lance was tested fifty ways to Sunday, I can't imagine what they have they think could stick.

that was classic!
Fabian never was punished for that because there was never any evidence of a motor.

And considering that they're relying (in part) on the testimony of habitual liar Floyd Landis (remember how he fought against his failed drug test the year he "won" Le Tour) and others with axes to grind; I can not see Lance losing.

But if he does, then the whole sport of cycling goes down with him. There's no way it could recover from it.

This is why the UCI is punishing anyone who is suspicious, to clean the cycling past to save the sport, in which think they did due to the positive amount of revenue and attendance at this years' cycling events.

I do agree that he's going to win. Just like with Bonds/Clemons, there is no failed test so nothing can stick. If he had anything close to failing, the French would have been all over it.

If he does lose though, when was the last clean winner of the Tour outside of last year? I can't figure out how many clean years there are in the past 15

has anyone followed cycling this year?
I thinks the strongest team will win, riding for their leader

That's some amazing insight :) I've been following it but you're just not going to see many Suisse/Giro/ToC/one day classics threads on Fark.

Speaking of which....unless something really interesting happens we'll probably only see a couple more TdF greenlights. So I'm going to keep checking this one as a current discussion thread. Hopefully we'll pick up a few more posters along the way.

Spartacus rode away from Boonen like only Spartacus can, and a lot of people couldn't believe he was that strong.
That said, there was talk about x-raying every bike before the start, but I can't remember them doing that on a consistent basis.

Mark gets another one. A lot closer without the great HTC-Highroad lead out train he's had in the past. Maybe makes the win even more impressive .
