Obama's just doing this to get more support for anti-global-warming laws. We'll be hearing about Operation Hot and Heavy in Congress in a few months.

I'm in Baltimore right now, and between the heat and the humidity, yes, it is 775 degrees.

This happens EVERY summer. Every summer, it gets above 95 and people complain.

Hot nuff for ya?

I'm also in Baltimore, and yeah, it's disgusting out there. Disgustinger than usual: NOAA says the average high is 86, and it's pushing 100.

Humidity isn't quite as bad as it could be, though, around 40%. Wait for August, though, when the humidity usually settles in for real, in the 80s and up.

It's going to hit 104 here today, with 45% humidity to make it extra awesome. I went for a jog last night at 9:30pm and it was still 90 god damn degrees.

Isn't it sad when we say "hey man it's only going to be 100 today so it's not as bad as when it was 109"

The highest recorded temperature in Alaska and Hawaii is the same, 100 degrees. And that's the lowest high temp of any of the states.

Damn straight. I'm about to hit the HEB for beer and either going to play disc golf after work, or go sit my ass in the San Marcos River for some fishin'.
Either way, it's win\win.

Each August we go to Balto for a gathering and it is hotter than hades. I was wearing shorts and sat down on the steps of the cement amphitheater at the Inner Harbor. I had sear marks on my thighs. Talk about frying an egg! Burnt my legs I did.

You know if you switched to metric it would be half as hot. 4 degrees C. is twice as hot as 2 degrees. That's how math works right?

Well, just 60 miles south, you'll all be happy to know that Arlington, VA is also unbearably uncomfortable.

// she says: "I feel bad for you guys, all walking around with sweaty nuts all day"
