I think the song is catchy...

Really like it, personally...

The radio really made a good song into an annoying piece of shiat. It'll be years before I can actually listen to that song again.

mhd: And can we please be done with the prequels butthurt?

Just as soon as the originals are released. Until then the biatching will never stop. Ever.

No.

Apparently this is the prequels are the biggest travesty perpetrated on humanity.

Bigger than the Holocaust.

/perspective people.

The originals have been released. Not on blue ray. But they were released on DVD.

They weren't even that good, people. The best of them was a 7/10 at BEST.

Wow, that really captured (quite nicely, I might add) all the whiny butthurt that is Star Wars fandom.

Every single time I see it.

Barely, and at great expense.

And no one is comparing this to the holocaust. You can use hyperbole or you can call for perspective. You can't do both.

The fact is, the biatching will continue until they are released. Plinkett gave fandom a nice collective colon cleansing of the prequels. Everyone I know, even the geekiest and most obnoxious fanboys, have written off the prequels like they didn't happen. The only real fervor left is over the fact that he keeps changing Kershner's Empire and Marquand's Jedi without releasing their original work in new formats.

Seriously. It came out in the fall. Enough already, I hear it everywhere and I don't bother with the radio.

That was fun. Loved how the canvas behind Lucas went to all green.

Yeah, music should really only have a shelf-life of about one month before it's forgotten about entirely.

Widescreen inside 4:3 is shiat and they knew it when they put them on there. It was essentially a "fark you, stop asking" from Lucas.

/I bought it anyway
//the very last thing I'll ever buy from them until they do it right

I motherfarking hate that stupid piece of shiat song. The only thing worse than that shiatty farking song is my coworker that insists on having the radio on the local shiatty farking pop station that plays that shiatty farking pop song every 5 farking minutes on the minute all motherfarking day. I hope Goyte dies in a farking plane crash. Fark. That. Song.

Apparently a parody of Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know .

Not a bad song, but maybe twice as long as it should be, and could be much peppier. Lyrics also need to reference California more.

It's a shame because the album that song came from is freakin brilliant.

So I'm just hearing this song for the first time. Katy Perry must be pissed that the girl is using her vocal filter.

Ya know, I haven't watched Star Wars in any form in the past decade, so I probably wouldn't notice the changes. Except Han shot first. Like the real Blackbeard.

Oh, and the music? Makes me want to cut someone. Maybe the original artist.

The prequels happened, they were great Star Wars movies. Clone Wars kicks ass.

A lot of young children I know see the whole series as one story.

But don't think for a moment that statements that fans have disowned the movies, and that there were colon cleaning because of a scmuck on you tube

That version is far more sad and mournful than the original.

2012-06-28 11:40:13 PM
I don't listen to the radio much, just in the car and I listen to more news than anything else. Let's face it, most of the music on the radio is shiat. So I'm not tired of this song yet. I'll have to check out the album before this thing gets so overplayed even for me that I can't bear to hear it again.

No, you probably won't live long enough. Once songs become vinegar, they tend to stay that way for you forever. And radio will never stop playing it. But it's foolish to blame radio. You should know by now that radio is crap. Blame yourself for listening to it.
