Not sure how Bill is being an asshole about this... he said he didn't want to do it, and they keep pestering him about it. He wants to play golf, show up at random bars and minor league baseball games, and act in Wes Anderson movies.

He's not an asshole, he's the greatest human ever.

All I know is it ends up starring Murray it will probably be good, and if it doesn't it'll probably be bad.

I'm pretty sure Murray was in Ghostbusters 2 and that thing is a real stinker.

It's quite simple really. Get Wes Anderson to write a Ghostbusters movie, and you'll guarantee that Murray will be in it.

At this point, just reboot the motherfarker. Or let it die. Good Lord, I loved the original movie, and the animated series that followed. The second movie proved to me that the director couldn't recapture the lightning of the first, what with its "mood slime" and its goofily-ambulatory Statue of Liberty. Bill Murray constantly looked like he had better places to be, even then.

Give it a fresh start, or a decent burial.

Amazing. People still haven't learned that a sequel 20-30 years after the beloved original is going to suck. Remember Crystal Skull? The prequels? Why would anyone think this would turn out any better?

GB3 is still being discussed? FFS,let this idea disappear for good.

I'm in the shrinking minority of people that think that sequels aren't a necessity.
