boyvoyeur: Egalitarian: driving a black Lexis SUV? Hah!

I have to drive the Interstate a lot and get bored so I pay attention to cars around me. When I switched from driving a large expensive-brand (used) wagon to a cheaper (new) hatchback, I suddenly found a lot more people getting up on my ass. I generally drive 5-10 mph over the limit so it's not like I'm being a turtle.

Who's the worst? Lexis SUVs, anything BMW, Cadillac Escalades and large Dodge Ram trucks. Add +20% chance of asshattery for black or other dark color. Not all dark-colored cars are driven idiotically, but it seems to be the color family of choice for jerk drivers.

My BF who drives a custom Forester gets much less tailgating because he's driving a bigger, more expensive vehicle. Thank you size-ist and price-ist jerks.

\this tangential css brought to you by a po'd driver

Isn't black the most popular car color?

dletter: You are right... the original persons response made me trick myself on thinking about that (and I was going the other direction then). BAC is the % itself, which ie, 0.10 is .1% of the blood is alcohol.

So just so everyone is on the same page and knowing this is impossible but for sake of argument... 100% alcohol would be BAC 10.00? Seems counter-intuitive being as in any other situation a percentage would appear in terms of 1.00 being 100%

Um, I don't think so, I think 100% alcohol in your blood (well, I guess there wouldn't be any blood then, but, regardless)... would be BAC 100.00 .... 0.08 BAC is actually .08% of your blood being alcohol.

To be fair to the situation, if she was a morning drive time news anchor, then she was probably just off of work and had hit the bar for happy hour at 9 something AM

I don't know of a bar around here that's even open at 9am. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some, but it's probably just the dives. Not that it matters. She apparently gets her booze at Walgreens.

No bars that I know of either, buuuut Cap N Cork opens at 9am.

Where the heck do you live that most Walgreens and CVS don't have a drive thru pharmacy pickup?

And forgot to mention... 9 times out of 10 across the street from each other.

/within 3 different directions of me I can go less than 3 miles and hit a Walgreens, and 2 of them have a CVS across the street.

AgentKGB: Who was that news reporter that had a sextape leak out of her farking a guy in her newsvan?

Allison Williams, WVEC-TV. I know this because it's in the filename of the video, which I have right here. It's a good one, although I didn't realize it was possible to let a guy stick it in and still be a tease, but she somehow manages!

I wonder if Miss Sally (link), who was the star of Romper Room in Baltimore when I was a kid, ever did anything like that?

Across town a big new Wal-Green's went up on one corner of a busy intersection on the way to the track and the airport, which took some business away from the old Rite-Aid up the street in a 1960s'-era strip mall. So a new Rite-Aid opened on the opposite corner, knocking down a car wash which had itself replaced an old funeral parlor (the former Rite Aid location is probably still empty). Between them they edged out a local pharmacy called Bondurant's whose unique building is now a drive-through liquor store. Then the CVS about a mile away moved a few blocks further out, also in a new building.

There are too damn many big-name chain drug stores in this town, most of them ugly. It's the same for big-name chain fast food places. How many of those monstrosities do you need in a city of only 295,803 people in 284.5 square miles?

But anyway.

There was a cute "perky" brunette (white, I think Jewish) news anchor in Baltimore I had a crush on when I was still young enough for such things ('70s-'80s) but I can't remember her name or even which station she worked for. She had kind of a page-boy hair style for a while... It wasn't Sally Thorner. This is driving me nuts. Any Farkers know?

She better be glad she didn't try using the Skittles excuse in FL
