Want to know how I know the Subby is a Farkette?
If you pay attention you'll notice if a news articles involve a male offender then it have a Dumbass tag. If it's a female offender then it get a Sad or Interesting tag.

The way I see it, a Dumbass is a Dumbass, regardless of the gender.

Many people, many alcoholics even, would like there to be some personal failure or tragedy as the source, but sometimes Alcoholism is the problem, and not a symptom.

Been there, done that. 8 years sober.

spentmiles: 2009 arrest:

"Police received a complaint about 9:30 a.m. Monday from a driver who noticed a sport utility vehicle swerving near West Jefferson Boulevard and Getz Road."

2012 arrest:

"Frank smelled of alcohol, and her behavior made a store clerk concerned, according to court documents."

Seems like this lady wouldn't have a problem if people would just mind their own damn business. I'm sure her being a minor celebrity while people live their shiat lives and work their shiat jobs really rubs some folks the wrong way. Mary is obviously a hard core alcoholic, which is entirely her business, so these .14s aren't affecting her as they would a lightweight. Just leave her the fark alone and quit being jealous.

Why should people so stupid be allowed to breathe our air?

Meh, I think you over estimate how much TV personalities make in anything other than a Top 25 TV market. And other than if you have some "star power" and are moving up the ladder quickly, you are probably pretty stagnant and either staying where you are or just bouncing around small/mid-size market stations.

Just my guess, but, other than Linda Jackson around here, I doubt anyone else on air even gets close to cracking 6 figures. I might be wrong, but, just my suspicion.

With mine it seems the Wellbutrin XL raises my alcohol tolerance slightly, but it's clear the Celexa interacts with ETOH to produce drowsiness and sleep and/or unconsciousness. So it's easier to drink enough to knock myself out.

By the way, I gave up driving in late 2001, long before I took to drink. So where's my cookie?!?

....arrested Tuesday about 3:30 p.m. outside...

....administered a certified breath test at 5:08 p.m....

Can any Fark scienticians or DUI experts tell me if there is anything wrong here? I know she smelled of alcohol and was acting weird, but isn't it possible that she could have chugged a bottle, immediately bought the second one and started drinking it, and not be legally intoxicated at the time of arrest? From what I understand, the alcohol needs time to be metabolized, and this seems like a possible argument for the defence. Or not, someone chime in here...

AgentKGB: Who was that news reporter that had a sextape leak out of her farking a guy in her newsvan?

Allison Williams, WVEC-TV. I know this because it's in the filename of the video, which I have right here. It's a good one, although I didn't realize it was possible to let a guy stick it in and still be a tease, but she somehow manages!

It's not bogus. There are/were two chicks named Alison Williams in that area: the reporter and the brauty queen. The reporter chick made the tape, but when it hit the net, the beauty queen was more well known. So, google searches for the reporter chick sex tape came up with links to the beauty queen and it caused all the confusion. The stupid porn companies tried to capatilize on this confusion instead of correcting it, hence the multi-million dollar judgement against them when the beauty queen sued them for defamation. Meanwhile, the reporter chick quietly faded away to bolivian*.

driving a black Lexis SUV? Hah!

I have to drive the Interstate a lot and get bored so I pay attention to cars around me. When I switched from driving a large expensive-brand (used) wagon to a cheaper (new) hatchback, I suddenly found a lot more people getting up on my ass. I generally drive 5-10 mph over the limit so it's not like I'm being a turtle.

Who's the worst? Lexis SUVs, anything BMW, Cadillac Escalades and large Dodge Ram trucks. Add +20% chance of asshattery for black or other dark color. Not all dark-colored cars are driven idiotically, but it seems to be the color family of choice for jerk drivers.

To be fair to the situation, if she was a morning drive time news anchor, then she was probably just off of work and had hit the bar for happy hour at 9 something AM

noon drive time? 3:30pm is reasonable, and 5:30pm is late at night at that point to be blasted

see.. not everyone works a regular 9-5 job, and after work shenanigans can happen at most any time during the day.

for a few Industrial automatons jobs I had to do third shift, folks were getting off at 7Am and buying beer for the "night" at 7:30am, getting the icky looks from the morning commuters.

that being said... I work weekends and have to be at the beer mines on Sunday mornings at 7-8-9am (whatever).... I LOVE to watch the local news at 5am on a Sunday morning. because those are the entry level anchors and they are ALWAYS HAMMERED! especially the sports guy!

hell, I must be used to it.. I thought it was a rule that local news anchors were all drunks?

I bought my Dodge ram off the estate for $100. its old,(mid 90's) leaks, rusty, denty, big engine. nothing but steel all the way around.
I love driving it. I'm not a prick about driving as you pointed out about those other drivers. but I love driving it because its such a big, ugly looking truck that all those pricks you describe stay WELL AWAY from me! I can just hang in the middle lane, unmolested by the uppity drivers you pointed out.

I just wanted to bring up that point about the dodge rams, you mentioned and that not all of us are like that... My Ram is more of a pleasure craft nowadays any ways. I know of the uppity ram drive you speak of, and I would like you to rest assured that every last one of them will be saddled with transmission problems sooner than later

I used to drive a crown vic, that car was great.. Big, white... cops and cabbies waved at you... people behaved them selves around you and got out of your way...good times!

You are right... the original persons response made me trick myself on thinking about that (and I was going the other direction then). BAC is the % itself, which ie, 0.10 is .1% of the blood is alcohol.
