Just what I was hoping they'd spend my tax dollars on.

I hope they have someone guarding the wreckage to make sure no one goes and films themselves jacking off all over the remains.

That would be incredibly disrespectful.

The team recovered materials like a life-support system from the wreckage and possible bones from the glacier. The evidence was being taken to the command's lab in Hawaii for analysis.

I can think of no more fitting of an end than that for people that have been buried in a glacier for the past 50+ years.

In 1952 there were a lot of alien abductions, I think the aliens are done studying the plane and contents and they just returned it.
Adjusting my tinfoil hat now.

I have hiked this area off and on throughout the years. Getting within about 20 miles of the glacier is fairly easy - 4 wheeler trails will take you right up to Knik Glacier which is just to the North. But after that it would be a brutal slog through glacial moraine. Boulders as big as houses stacked helter-skelter with black glacial mud in between them. Helicopter is really your best/only option.

What I am saying is...that would be a lot of work/expense, and I don't see the people who would make such a "film" going to that kind of extreme.

Yeah, proving global warming is true, because glaciers never gave up previously frozen planes:

2. Fifty years ago

I've seen this movie before. They deliberately crashed in an attempt to contain some nameless evil, now hibernating within the remains. Once it revives, it will try to take over new host bodies, and the black guy will be one of the first to go, and soon only the hot chick, and the handsome scientist will be left to destroy the creature before it escapes into the city.

Either that, or one person has actually been brought back from suspended, and wacky hilarity ensues as he, or she, comes to grips with our contemporary society.

Based on watching CSI this should only take a few hours.

You guys are dumb. On most aircraft the flippers are situated just behind the cloaca.
