Probably been said already, but sounds like they are treating it with the respect and dignity it deserves subby.

Why is corruption alright when democrats are doing it?

What corruption are you referring to? Because there was no corruption on the part of Eric Holder here.

"Revelations from the Operation Fast and Furious scandal suggest that programs approved by the Holder DOJ may have resulted in the needless deaths of many, including a federal law enforcement officer," Judicial Watch said.

Criminal!

And aren't you all the same loyal democrats that swore up and down that Anthony Weiner looked good in his underwear? Yes you are......

Alphax: Anyway, the vote will happen during the SC announcement, so it seems Boehner wanted the vote to be overlooked. He determines when such votes happen.

I think Boehner wants people to talk about it.

If the ACA is found constitutional, the media will still have to report on the first congression finding of contempt for a sitting AG. So not a total win for Obama.

And if any part of the ACA is struck down, the media has to report that in addition to Holder's contempt finding, and it sounds like a REALLY bad day for the Obama administration.

For once, the Speaker is managing the news cycle pretty well.

2012-06-28 08:58:54 AM
A little history on the AG Position and the White House:

"Particularly disconcerting is the new revelation that the White House sought Mr. Ashcroft's authorization for the wireless surveillance program, yet refused to let him seek the advice he needed on the program,"

"The White House demanded in 2004 that the Justice Department approve a secret national security program without allowing the ailing attorney general, "feeble, barely articulate, clearly stressed," to discuss the matter with top advisers,"

As it happened, the White House did move ahead with the program for several weeks without the department's approval.

OMG! Revelations "suggest" that the operation "may have" resulted in something? That's quite damning.

And aren't you all the same loyal democrats that swore up and down that Anthony Weiner looked good in his underwear? Yes you are......

Please cite where we "all" said such things, you hyperbolic chucklewit.

And funny you cite Judicial Watch...

Remember when Saudi nationals were allowed to fly out of the country while we were all on lockdown after 9/11? Judicial Watch also had this:

On June 20, 2007 the group released FBI documents related to the "expeditious departure" of Saudi nationals, including members of the bin Laden family, from the United States following the 9/11 attacks. According to one of the documents, dated September 21, 2001, Osama bin Laden himself may have chartered one of the Saudi flights.

That revelation suggests that Bush may have allowed flights chartered by Osama Bin Laden to leave the country when the rest of us weren't allowed to fly.

Criminal! Treasonous!

I mean, it has to be treasonous, because the "revelation" does "suggest" that treason 'may have" occurred. That seems to be enough for you.

Wow, thank you for posting such and informative, unbiased and level headed review of the evidence. look at the level of journalism involved:

You've got to be kidding me. First of all (and slightly off topic), how interesting is it that a far left Marxist like Eban biatches about the wiretap application taking too long, and yet when it comes to prosecuting Muslim terrorists under the Patriot Act, the same Marxists who love gun control claim that 72 hours is plenty of time to get a warrant.

The left wants to nail gun owners immediately, but they want to take their sweet little time with Muslim terrorists. Shows you where their heart lies!

It's that kind of cold, dispassionate analysis that is needed in discussing this topic.

Dismissing a vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress as a "political stunt," a group of House Democrats, led by the Congressional Black Caucus, is planning to walk out of the House chamber on Thursday and boycott the vote.

Attempting to hold Holder in contempt of Congress is a "political stunt" to begin with......it's almost as if it is an election year. It would be nice if they just got back to farking work, but they never started thanks the rampant bipartisan environment the that tea party no comprimise platform to defeat Obama created.

When they couldn't track the guns, they stopped their operation. Then Hillary biatched about how we are letting arms go into Mexico. THEN the DOJ did Fast & Furious, to sell to those same cartels with no intention of tracking them. It sounds much worse when you put it in chronological order.

Yeah, I'm sure this will turn out to be true:

They've never answered the question, "What were they thinking of?" Could it be that what they really were thinking of was in fact to use this walking of guns in order to promote an assault weapons ban. Many think so. And they haven't come up with an explanation that would cause any of us not to agree.

...

We have to expect law enforcement to hold us accountable under fair laws but also hold the bad guys accountable rather than allowing bad things to happen and justifying new laws against law-abiding citizens. [...]
