(WWSB ABC 7)   Tip for Florida residents: If you drop your gun in a fight and the other guy grabs it and runs away, it may not be a good idea to chase the guy and yell at him to give the gun back   (mysuncoast.com) divider line 20

He was arrested in Manatee County in 2009 and charged with False Imprisonment of Child Under Age 13 and Sexual Battery.

I don't think the Stand Your Ground defense is going to work here.

There is a reason professionals use those ropey-stretchy things. So they don't have that same exact problem during a scuffle.
And then there is the reason the Army uses them. Guy in my platoon left his M-16 in the porta-shiater in Babylon. One of the Polish nationals found it. Somehow, he got it back. He spent the rest of the tour with it tied to his wrist with 3 ft of 550 cord.

So yeah. Both good reasons.

He had it coming to him. Yarn was a cruel man.

Rofloled gave the weapon back to him, bullets first.

Oh, come on. What else was he supposed to do?

Finders vs Keepers clearly set precedent that requesting the return of the lost item is the only way to nullify the Finder's claim to the item.
