She was eleven years old, going on thirty-five, Doc, and she told me she was fourteen, she was very willing, I practically had to take to sewing my pants shut. Between you and me, uh, she might have been eleven, but when you get that little red beaver right up there in front of you, I don't think it's crazy at all and I don't think you do either. No man alive could resist that, and that's why I got into jail to begin with. And now they're telling me I'm crazy over here because I don't sit there like a goddamn vegetable. Don't make a bit of sense to me. If that's what being crazy is, then I'm senseless, out of it, gone-down-the-road, wacko. But no more, no less, that's it.

Patrick's wife was also on hand, but reportedly did nothing because she's afraid of Patrick.

It's sad that a woman can be made to feel so worthless, that she wouldn't protect children from such an @$$. I wish that jerk would get life in the electric chair...

My childhood has been seeming much better to me all year. A few more stories like this and I might have to thank my parents for stopping with simple emotional neglect and verbal abuse. At least it gave me an interesting personality...

it's a form of PLEASURE when you LOVE someone too much

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ that's about the long and short of it. same goes for Sandusky's wife. this assumption that women are wilting flowers who only do bad shiat -- or allow bad shiat -- because they're frightened and abused has to end. just like women can be pedophiles and ephebophiles, women can also be psychopaths who feel nothing or even assist their men in doing the physical do.

This. My parents just helped convince me I was a worthless piece of shiat who needed to be there for women to listen to all of their problems.

/oh... when I put it that way, my life makes a lot more f'ing sense...

There's a slight difference between "letting" your children drink beer, and "forcing" them to do so...

Am I the only one curious about just how young the wife is here, given that her sisters are 10 and 11? I mean, maybe her parents waited a while after having her before having two more in quick succession, but I just have a feeling she's barely of legal age herself...

Here in Wisconsin, you can give a minor alcohol (and bring them into a bar) as long as they are with at least one parent. There was a case in a neighboring county where a father took his child to a local fair. The father bought two beers. He drank one and gave the other one to his 4 year old son. When the vendor realized what the father did, the police was called. The police came out but the father was not arrested. People were pretty upset about that. The general idea was that the father should of at least been arrested for something, but he wasn't. Not even close to kidding. A lot of people were not aware of that law here but we became informed that day. I would assume that CPS (Child Protective Service) was probably called in this case.

Also, before I RTFA, I figured that there was some grooming going on for molestation purposes.

Yeah, that's certainly possible... It's just the fact they left out her age (while giving the ages of everyone else involved) that got me wondering... Well, that and the fact that the husband apparently likes to get young girls drunk and molest them...
