Citizens of Colorado, WE ARE LEAVING!!!!

2012-06-27 12:55:50 AM
Moved out of Fort Collins right as the High Park fire was getting really bad and headed out to Los Alamos to live with the inlaws.

Mom's house in Glacierview burned to the ground last week.

Grandma's condo in C.Spgs. is next, apparently.

And you know what? fark Colorado. Let it burn. Colorado Springs plays host to the most evil and diabolical "Christian" organizations imaginable, and the voters of Fort Collins cost me my business, bankrupted my wife and I, drove us homeless and insane, and WORST OF ALL condemned my terminally ill customers and clients to lives rich with suffering with little hope of relief.

As far as I'm concerned, this is Divine Wrath, and they can eat it by the motherfarking spoonful. Whole state is full of two-faced fakes who only care about compassion and charity when they can get something out of it.

They've cut utilities to the northwest part of the city, where golf ball-size embers are falling. Another fire in Boulder and still the one near Collins. Good luck, Front Range.

Retractable Weeners: From Craigslist: Link

I was on Rampart Range Road and saw the Fire basically when it started. I have video and pictures and believe I know who started the fire. I have left 4 messages with the tip line and have not received a call back. The perpetraitors are probably in another state by now and as time passes crucial evidence is being lost! Somebody needs to contact me asap. I may go to the Television stations tomorrow. What a shame!

You MAY go to the TV stations? You haven't received a callback?? What kind of gutless POS are you if you feel you have genuinely credible information to share with authorities??? You blame others for time being lost? What a spineless tool!Nut up, jagoff!

Lol, does it matter who/what started it? You have that much drought with that much fuel it's going to find an ignition source be it lightning strike, camper, cigarette butt, car exhaust, bullet ricocheting off a rock, lawn mower blade striking a rock, or someone with a lighter who likes seeing things burn. This fire started decades ago.

Best wishes from SoCal to you Colorado Farkers. Please be safe.

This seems like the main donation center solution at the moment:

HEY! Way to stereotype incorrectly. How do you think the free liberal Colorado Springs Independent survives? (keep in mind they were surviving before the medical marijuana ad bonanza). CO is a heterogeneous mix of people, it's not all fundies here.

He's already been through serious shiat and now his mom's house has burned down. I saw people with his anger storm out of meetings at city hall in Colorado Springs practically in tears of rage - people that had invested their entire life savings, and lives, into a business only to have it taken away by brainwashed nimby voters and greedy bureaucrats. Had one. It was great. I was helping hundreds of people and it was deeply rewarding. I've never felt so close to God in my entire life. Then it was ripped away from me, and I was forced to let down those who depended on me. I spent the next two months with the barrel of a gun in my mouth.

Myself and my family are among those who have watched everything we have burn down in these fires, bucko. Colorado robbed my of my ability to dole out compassion and charity, so it now gets none of my pity.

I still have most of my family out there, right in the path of two separate fires.

Most of my old clients are in the paths of those fires as well.

And if I could stand in the middle of one of those fires and let it consume me, as you suggest, I would. Because feckless pieces of shiat have broken my soul and robbed me of my ability to care for the needy.

So fark you. Fiery death is mercy when compared to having to associate with assholes like you.

Okay, I had heard rumors through facebook that Waldo Canyon and some of the southern fires were from an arsonist.

There were no storms in Waldo Canyon the day the fire started. In fact we haven't had storms in this area for a few weeks. Not saying it was arson, but it's about the only thing it could have been.

If this is how you operate in your life, I can see why you failed. I'm as angry at the world as anyone and am starting year 3 of the worst period in my life (outside Jr. High, cause fark that shiat) and wouldn't be able to bring myself to justify this kind of biblical destruction of many more innocent's property even if it brought the pyramid scheming corporate executives who got the shiatball of events I've been through rolling three-fold of what I've endured.

It's easy to say and do the right thing, to be charitable, when everything is going your way. It's keeping that spirit in your heart when it feels like the whole world is against you that's the true test of your character.

I know I'm going to get a chorus of people calling me a liar, but I actually spoke to Gov. Hickenlooper while we re-fueled his UH60 at Centennial airport tonight. People are afraid of fires, period. Periodic small fires are not only normal they are good for the environment. What isn't normal are large scale fires like this and they result from decades of mismanagement by government and private entities. When things get this bad you can't do controlled burns so you just stand back and come up with evacuation plans. I'm not even sure why you would even fight the fire. You're probably looking at the same thing happening in 20 years without proper land use.

Well, we have 4 lizards, 2 tanks of feeder mice, and an elderly ferret. 2 of the lizards are 4+ feet long, one bites (nile monitor). I guess we could put the big ones in pillowcases, and move the smaller 2 in a 10gal tank. Mice are just lizard food, but the ferret Spot would need special care. Thank you very much for the offer, and if need arises I may contact ya.

melkson: They've evacuated to the north and west of me, i'm 4 blocks from the mandatory areas. Got my stuff packed, but there is no way i'd be able to move my pets :(
I don't think I want to go without them.

You have time now, start moving them somewhere. Friends house, hotel, motel, etc.

Why can't you move your pets? I'm in Douglas County if you need help. Email in profile.

You'd be willing to risk your life for four lizards and a ferret? I have two cats, and, while I love them, if it were a question of me or them, well, I can get more cats.

Stay safe and get out.

sumpinaintright: Not saying it was arson, but it's about the only thing it could have been.

Campers. Smokers. Power lines. Car fire. House fire. Elk that have learned to use flint and steel. Meteorite. Kids with matches. Kids with a magnifying glass. Spontaneous human combustion. Fireworks. Spontaneous squirrel combustion. Homemade rocket. Embers from a chimney. An angry bear with a gas can, a lighter, and a political cause. Powertool malfunction. ATV fire. Drunk Texans blowing-off steam. Dragging trailer chains making sparks. Gods fighting. Fire ants finally living up to the hype. Badgers rioting over the stagnation of the middle-class. An arsonist who changed his mind, but then tripped and started the fire by accident. I could go on.
