Oh, how far Obama has fallen.

2012-06-26 09:50:13 AM
This is getting depressing.

I think I'll light some incense and slip into a nice hot bath with some salts.

The byline is Waco, Texas

2012-06-26 10:23:17 AM
Sorry Texas, you can't pawn Waco off on Florida.

What amazes me is as much as this shiat is in the news, people are still doing it... or for that matter this shiat is still being sold in stores.

No "Man bites dog" headline? I am disappoint.

I thought bath salts were a whole different thing than K2 but you know, uh, I'm too old for that stuff.

I guess that was a "hot dog"

K2 is not bath salts. It's known as spice.

I have yet to hear of a lawsuit against any of the smoke or head shops that sell the stuff. I predict that will start happening.

No one I know who's tried incense or bath salts has described it as being pleasant at all. I really don't get it.

I don't know what either of those is like first-hand and I don't want to either. I'm sure most people who use such things don't have such experiences, but call me chicken.

Where was a cop to shoot him when he bit the dog? Slackers!1!

So, not Florida and not Bath Salts. I did not read the article but I'll also assume it was a cat and not a dog.

I'm fairly certain they are different. Oddly enough, some states are trying to draft legislation against the sale of K2 but not bath salts. Weird, huh? Go figure.

Banning them isn't the solution because they'll just move on to some other industrial compound that can get them high - you'll have to ban keyboard dusters, aerosol cans, and white out, too, since people get high on those as well.

These are imbeciles who can't find themselves a dealer to get high on weed/cocaine/whatever. If we want to stop driving them to legal substances that were never intended to be ingested/inhaled by a human, we'll end the drug war.

Considering there was a case in new york where a woman high on bath salts said she wanted to kill and eat people I'd say Florida has nothing to do with it. I think the laws with bath salts in Florida might be more lax maybe. Or maybe it's just easier to find there. It's illegal here in Delaware.

I can't add links from my phone so you'll have to google the story.

Pretty sure I never said ban... I was thinking along the facts of what the fark is wrong with the owners of these stores that they'd continue to voluntarily allow the shiat to continue to be sold in their stores... What kind of farked up people are they?

Had a bath salts zombie episode in Louisiana a couple of weeks back. He was munching on someone, but I forget what part he ate

I love how all these bath salts attacks happen in places with zero tolerance for weed in the name of being tough on drugs.

I thought spice was the synthetic marijuana that a lot of people are smoking. You never know from these news reports. They never know what the hell they're talking about.

If they legalized marijuana and 'shrooms this synthetic shiate would go out of style PDQ.

I had a couple bad trips in my youth but nothing like these articles describe.

Could these people be totally psycho to begin with? Maybe that guy in Florida always wanted to eat the face off a wino and only ingested a bit of that chemical to give himself an excuse? Or could it be the placebo effect again: you think you're taking a drug that will make you act very strange but the bottle itself contains just baking soda?

Why isn't anyone using these synthetic drugs as weapons instead of for recreational habits?

Instead of bombing an enemy town, slip bath salts into their water supply and let everyone literally tear each other apart. Your side doesn't even have to get their hands dirty.

I mean, this Movie Villain Evil 101 here.

I guess you can call Waco the Florida of Texas. Waco hasn't had a good reputation for a long time.

/only good thing to come out of Waco, TX is Doris Miller
//must be good, Cuba Gooding Jr portrayed him

very few places have 'potpourri' that is chemically altered these days. it's mostly a nice blend of natural herbs --that they caution you not to smoke- which may be burned like an incense. of course you smoke them and it's the mildest of relaxation and tranquil calm, just a touch.

so either punch the dog eating boy got himself a major dose of old school chemical pre-K2, or he did the salts, or he's a highly impressionable asshole that needs special care.

i bet if we could follow the money these products are fund raisers for alphabet shenanigans. what businessman in his right mind would invest in raw materials & a processing plant for product that might/will/should get yanked right off the shelves? these goods tap-danced around laws really well. someone knew what they were doing.
