CarnySaur: Get A Life, which is supposedly being released in its entirety on DVD in September.

Not supposedly. It's been confirmed, is up for pre-order on Amazon, and word from the studio is that REM's "Stand" is intact as the opening theme.

I won't believe it until I actually have a copy in my hands.

I'm not that mad that the shows were taken off too early but rather they didn't get a proper ending like in the case of Veronica Mars.

Then you get the shows with the rushed or shiatty endings like Dollhouse or Lost.

Then you get the shows that have really worn their welcome like Weeds.

OMG I farking hate Weeds.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

I'm sure the second season of that show would have been great if the entire family didn't die in that plane crash.

"Flying Blind".

Not that it was that great a show - but holy HELL, Tea Leoni was hot.

loooongview1: I'm surprised to see the lack of "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr" on this list. C'mon farkers, I thought anything with Bruce Campbell would have appeared as soon as such a list was discussed. I also found "John from Cincinnati" to be taken way too short. Did the show make any sense at first? No, but I thought the ending really set up a bunch of possibilities for where the show could go.

That was the very first show I thought of - in fact I came into this thread to mention it. I also liked "Titus", "Quantuum Leap" and "Northern Exposure". I wish they could have found a way to keep those shows alive.

I just started watching "Breaking Bad" start to finish on Netflix. Had never seen it before and it is damn good - I'll be sorry to see it go.

This. For whatever reason, I couldn't get enough of "John from Cincinnati". It didn't hurt that they used a great Joe Strummer tune for the theme song.

Quantum Leap was about five years too early to be saved.

A Few years later, odds are Universal would have just shuffled it from NBC to Sci-Fi, like they did with Sliders.

Yeah, I started last season and tore through it from the beginning on Netflix. I'm glad I did it that way because it sucks watching one week at a time. I won't be sorry to see it go because it'll never jump the shark. Not a lot of popular shows can say that.

Better Off Ted
Sports Night
Arrested Development (I know it's coming back but still)

I was pissed when they canceled MST3K, especially given the shiat that they run on "SyFy" instead. But then Rifftrax is even better.

Holy hell, yes!

Oddly, though, FLYING BLIND did have an ending: at the end of the last
episode, the mismatched lovers broke up because they really had nothing
in common except for their mutual physical attraction.

Tour of Duty

We could use another Twilight Zone type show again or perhaps something along the lines of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour

Mentat: Twin Peaks went a year too long. A bit obscure, but I liked Stephan King's Golden Years. I also kind of liked Alcatraz. What can I say?

Alcatraz isn't gone too soon. It returns for season 2 this fall.

Maybe in your world. Here in this one, though, Alcatraz was part of Fox's great drama purge.

Do-over.

Seeing a kid screaming plot spoilers outside the premiere of 'The Empire Strikes Back' after getting bullied ruled.

Absolutely loved that show. Dinklage, Carla Gugino and Data all on one show together? Yes, please.

Like a couple of other posters said, When Things Were Rotten.
13 episodes was way too short, and it's unavailable on dvd. Come on Mel, pull some strings for this one.
I still become as indignant as I was when the show was first cancelled just thinking about it.

The Young Ones - yeah, I get the limited run of 12 episodes that BBC is partial to.
There was a lot of untapped territory for riotous fun here.

Making Fiends - cancelled after 6 episodes despite high ratings in the absence of any promotion.
This cancellation was just stupid.
