herrDrFarkenstein: Uchiha_Cycliste: jake_lex: I was hoping the song would be "Run Like Hell."

Run, run, run, run [repeat line four times]
You better run all day
And run all night
And keep your dirty feelings
Deep inside. And if your
Takin' your foster child
Out tonight
You better park the car
Well out of sight
'Cos if they catch you in the back seat
Trying to pick his locks
They're gonna send you back to mother
In a cardboard box
You better run

I'm glad someone posted these, I was going to but decided to reinforce the song's support instead,.

I'm guessing the prison population has to be middle-aged if they know those old Floyd songs that well.

First thing Sandusky has to do is break somebody's neck. That will at once establish a rep, and get him into secure housing.

/it's not like he's ever getting out. May as well work with what you have.

Sodom and Gomorrah
The flood

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

the list goes on and on.

Now, now you attempt at showing how hateful God falls by your very selective choice of verses. But then if you were to quote vast swaths of the NT in which God proclaims His love for Mankind that show you to be a thinking, balanced peson instead of someone with a distain for the religion of 2.5 billion people.

BTW why don't you drag out Islam for some ridicule? Haven't read the Koran or just chicken-shiate?

This guy isn't going to make it a year. And I doubt it will be the other inmates that do it. He is probably going to take his own life before they can get to him.

I seriously doubt that he though that he would even get convicted. You could tell by the look on his face after the verdict that he was in disbelief. The guy probably had some illusion that being Jerry Sandusky would save him again like it did so many other times in the past.

nekom: Nickster79: nekom: I'm surprised they didn't take him directly to PC.

Panama City?

Protective custody. Same thing as the hole, except instead of being bad to get there, you have to be hated. Known gang members and high profile inmates are often kept in solitary confinement so they don't get shanked in the general population.

In six months to a year, after the media furor has died and the country's attention has moved on, I imagine they will put him in gen pop and we'll be reading a news story about how he was killed in a corner of the laundry room or something.

Is it morally right? No. But this is a completely predatory, evil man. I'm not going to shed any tears if someone removes him from the world.

Together they could hunt for the real child molester.

I can assure you that there are not 2.5 billion people practicing Christianity. There wouldn't be child worker suicides in a totalitarian state if there were. Nor would the most profitable corporation in the world be driving those workers to suicide.

I put the number closer to 13 or 14. 17 tops.

I don't know about suicide. Dude looks flat out crazy as hell to me. He's utterly dissembled. If he ever admits to himself what he's done I doubt he lives the rest of that day, I agree. But I'm not sure he can anymore.

Let's see how you react if your child gets raped by a trusted individual? What do you do? Let it slide? Just let it be held over and let the courts decide his punishment. Naturally you'll want revenge. And if you live in Texas, it's perfectly justified.

skinink: Heh, like it matters what a bunch of cons think of another con. I bet if Sandusky could help any of them break out of jail, they wouldn't hate him as much.

No, pedophiles are a class of convict that other convicts have a real hate on for. A lot of guys inside are fathers, and no matter what they have done, that doesn't go away. They are going to be thinking "what if it had been my kid?" when they look at Sandusky.

cloud_van_dame: He's dead. Prisoners killed Jeffrey Dahmer, also a molester of boys.

I suspect a few too many of the inmates were abused in some way when young, so they have a special feeling about child molesters.

Dahmer was killed by another inmate after he had been in prison for a couple of years. It happened in the prison gym and he was beaten with a weight bar. Dahmer picked up other men in bars so he wasn't a child molester.

The more you know...

Weaver95: easy - Sandusky was an evil mastermind who took advantage of poor confused Saint Joe.

Which, if true, is not exactly a ringing endorsement for Paterno, either. If it's our tendency in society to look at long-tenured, successful collegiate coaches as "molders of young men", tirelessly instilling life lessons and morality through their teachings/instructions, it'd be nice to set the bar a little higher so that said head coach is not some "poor simpleton" who that easily can have the wool pulled over him.

Cite his age all you want, if were take his remarks in the original GJ testimony at face value, he didn't seem to even comprehend the actual acts Sandusky was being accused for. Is someone that goddamn f*cking naive ideally the person you want representing your university and "developing young men"?

I get your point. but really I don't believe I've ever had any teacher, mentor, parent or heck really never had anyone tell me "now listen just remember your not allow to have sexy with little boys in the shower."

not really sure that is part of any lesson plan or mentoring.

According to the Bible and the Quran justice often involves death. It's prescribed for all sorts of crimes here on Earth. And according to the Christians God doles it out in the next life wholesale.

You have to be middle-aged to know PF songs? I'm 30, and a huge, huge fan. Granted a lot of that had to do with inheriting my love of the group from my father, but still.

You know that the feds are lining everything up to go after Penn State now, and rightfully so, but what the hell ever happened with Brian Kelly at Notre Dame? A kid died as a direct result of Kelly's negligence. Seems like Notre Dame just gets a pass while Penn State is staring down a whole lot of responsibility.

Yeah, because the last time that Sandusky had been reported to the police it worked so well.

Why would you think it would be any different if he'd told the College Station police? They still got hired and fired by the guy Paterno talked to. And why hate Paterno and not McCreary?

Was going to comment on this too. Law-and-order types like the whole prison rape thing and overlook the fact that it tends to be the weaker, less violent inmates who are the victims of that.

A bleeding heart liberal like me would say that rape or the threat of rape should not be part of a penal system.
