Actually, they don't call it Infineon anymore. The sponsorship deal was not renewed. Now it's Sonoma.

Wish I could be there today. But even tho I have to watch it on TV, I know it's going to be an amazing race. Sears Point is always fun!

kteela: Go Boris!!!!

Too bad he had a really shiatty qualifying session, he qualified WAY back in the pack... and Gordon and He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named qualified 2nd and 3rd.

2012-06-24 02:03:22 PM
So many favorites I want to see win today - Boris, Robby, 'dinger, Juablo, Gilliland, Ambrose...

And yah, it's a glorious day here. Sunny, mild, comfortable. Glad everyone watching gets to see a glimpse of my neighborhood.

No, coverage begins at 3pm ET. Commercials start 15 seconds before the first caution. Get it right!

I don't know much about him... but I don't think I've ever heard of someone being a fan of David Gilliland?

Boris had an off-day qualifying, Robby, not sure of, 'dinger will prolly spin himself and at least 3 other people out, Juablo should do OK, ditto Gilliland, Kangaroo Meat qualified P1, so he should have a good day, provided he doesn't get farked on pit stops.

I've seen him win here a few times, in the Saturday races that never get on TV. Hell, he won yesterday. I have been a fan since before he made it into Cup.

I'm floating between between the 2011 Women's 9ball tourney and the Nascar pre-race. Fortunately, I can watch pool during all the freaking TNT commercials.

I want to create an IROC-like racing series with Juablo, Jacques Villeneuve, and Pastor Maldonado.

The kewlest part is that I've played one of the ladies shooting right now: Xiaoting Pan. She played on our Texas tour about 5 years ago.

I meant to tag your post funny since you say the 22 will take 3 people with him and you sayJet Dryer should do ok.

As he thought he would as he is stuck in traffic, David Gilliland has missed the driver meeting.

Ahhhh... he's a local guy? I'm not used to that... apparently only like 2 people from Louisiana have ever raced at the Cup level.

Sheesh, as did Tony Stewart. What happened, 14?

Wow... we get us RaceBuddy today! My nephew will have TNT on the big screen, while I will have RaceBuddy on my comp, heaven!

He's from SoCal, but ran the west coast & southwest divisions for a number of years. He knows this track well, and usually puts on a damn good race. 'dinger is from the Peninsula, the southern part of the Bay Area. He runs well here too. Robby and Boris also know this track really well. I was at the truck race here when Boris won it, and he absolutely dominated the race. I would love to see the NCTS come back.

I love Boris and would love to see him win. Robby is way too much of a prick for me to root for.

Also, never realized the trucks ever ran a road course. Huh.

Yeah, Bowyer was biatching about traffic the other day. I chuckled visualizing a guy who is used to going 180 MPH stuck at a 5 MPH crawl like the rest of us. It has to drive them crazy.

They ran Sears Point a few times in the late 90s. It was 98 when Boris won.

Today's #TSM350 will be 110 laps, the fuel window is approximately 32 laps

I always wonder how they got the truck down from the burning tower. Doesn't have much of a way to turn it around, and you really shouldn't back down something like that.

Pace laps at Sonoma, and pole-sitter Marcos Ambrose already being asked about saving fuel.
