Stuck in a cooler? Like the morgue?

The video kind of makes them both look aggressive. And Otto's Jacket is right - it's nowhere near hilarious.

It's obvious that the biatch that wound up in the cooler was the instigator.
You just don't fark with someone else's cutting board.

I don't find that to be obvious. I don't know who originally had the cutting board or who was supposed to. It's a stupid thing to fight about, though.

Oh so Walmart is pulling that?

Right. fark Walmart.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Food companies pay services like New Concepts in Marketing to do demos of new products and NCIM pays Wal Mart for space on their floor for the demo. I have done this work for 2 years. It is a good gig for people looking for part time 1099 work, customers looking for free eats manufacturers looking to introduce new products and stores looking to make peoples shopping experience a little better. But you hatters gotta hate.

I wasn't trying to be super serious with my post, but yeah, it appeared to me that the woman that wound up in the cooler approached empty handed from the left, grabbed the cutting board that was being used by the other woman, and tried to walk back to her stand with it.

Having worked in construction for a number of years, it's akin to using another guy's tools without permission. It's ill advised.

Do yourself a favor, go here 1776 Plainfield Pike, Cranston · (401) 946-2030 and talk to a demonstrator and several employees. I believe ignorance can be cured by education but stupid is forever.

I'm a contractor at [company name redacted]. I've been there a year, and I make more than my supervisor and have benefits through my placement agency.

Contracting isn't that bad. I don't think I'd want to be a full time [company name redacted] employee...they've been shiat-canning a ton of them lately, then hiring contractors at higher pay rates to replace them in an effort to cut costs...

Yeah, I don't understand the logic in it either...

I see what you're saying, but I don't know nothin' about anything that had occurred. I found the combination of the misleading headline, the feet comically visible above the display, and the awesome quote rather amusing. Subby gets my stamp of approval. Much more amusing than those "People Seen at Wal-Mart" emails I get. Those just make me sad.

That's exactly what it looked like, but what are the odds that the fruit cutter took it from the other woman's stand without asking first?

Like the dude above pointed out, they don't have to pay benefits or taxes. My employer does the same thing hiring non-union "retired annuitants" and other consultants.

They're contracted employees, courtesy of some labor relations move. Of course they're going to be bitter.

1099 work just means the original employer wanted to dodge out on benefits or otherwise hates the workers. To think about it, the haters are working for Wal-Mart given how much dedication they have to screwing every single worker.

While all you will get is a Potemkin Village Tour not unlike the kinds of scripted interactions you get with Foxconn et al.

So, no benefits, no payroll taxes, no employer side SS taxes, no unemployment, no disability.
Does your boss tell you where to work and when to be there? Do you provide your own tools and equipment? Do you carry your own unemployment/worker's comp/disability coverage? No? Then you're an employee, not a contractor.

However, they get around that by having the contractors be an employee for the contracted firm, NCIM. Then NCIM is free to skip out on benefits, preferably at the guidance of Wal-Mart staff for keeping the contract.

Yeah its the food company that pays to have them in there handing out samples, not the store. Misplaced anger, blame the agency since wal mart has no control over that at all.

They tell you a job, and what time is has to be done, thats about it and you can choose whether or not you want to show up. Quite a few contractors arent covered by their own coverage but their placement agencies umbrella coverage, again not wal mart, blame the environment of employment. On the positive side of your misplaced bullshiat, I made a shiat ton of money being a contractor working all around the country building switching stations, its all in what you train for, some dont bother working for less while gaining knowledge to make more.

Although the store surprises me, the people involved didnt

Or you could just be sarcastic, its late and Im on a lot of pain meds.

Costco is especially bad. I want to grab some milk for my kids, but can't get to the cooler because the aisle is blocked as the sample station is hounded by morbidly obese land-whales jamming their fatholes with squeezable cheese on a cracker. I hate them. I hate them so much.
