So, let's blame the video game!

Indeed! The part of this case that old people understand the least is surely the true culprit!

Yeah, I love how they felt the need to say why he was up all night. Just once I want to see , "He was up all night crocheting". But somehow I doubt something like that would make it in a news story...

I say we sue the video game maker.

This is why people in the desert shouldn't have pools.

I can't really comment until I know for sure what game he was playing.

I don't think it is going to take Sherlock Holmes to figure out how the car got into the pool.

2012-06-22 11:13:53 AM
If I saw a car in my pool, I would at least hope for a body floating. Then when the family comes over, and asks to go swimming, I'd say;"Sure, just have to clean up the dead body smell." No more family surprise self invites to go swimming.

/kind of a dick.

I want to see something like "He was up all night studying for a test" or "He was up all night doing homework." Something that society takes as a positive. That would make it much more funny and ironic.

I played Borderlands till 2 this morning at a LAN party. I think it was more the friends and the beer than the game. Good game though.

Can't be. You can't stay up more than an hour playing that game let alone all night.

fark this idiot. I hate people who do this. Somehow, people think it is acceptable to inflict the consequences of their irresponsible sleep schedule on others by driving around like morons.

And somehow, it's socially acceptable (until this happens). People always drop this crap in conversation. "Oh, I was totally falling asleep but I wanted to power through the last leg of the trip, so I drank some Red Bull and got to driving." or "Lol, I was up alllll night and I'm soooo tired I can barely stand up anyway time to drive to work."

fark you. I hope when you crash, you crash into an inanimate object.

What about those of us who are forced by our employer to be up for days at a stretch and drive around in our work vehicles?

Who do you so bravely wish death upon in that case?

Curiously, there was also a car-meets-pool incident here yesterday.

True, but I am more commenting on the fact if it isn't video games, drug, or alcohol related they never even mention Why they were up.

A) As others have pointed out, that is illegal and you should take a stand against it. I have sympathy for people stuck in that sort if situation, but it won't change unless people start to speak out.

B) I didn't 'bravely wish death' on anyone. I said 'fark them for endangering others and that when they crash, I hope it is not into another person.'
