Did I just hear that Miller has seven three pointers?

2012-06-21 11:16:15 PM
MIller is like that one autistic kid that got put into the game and started drilling 3's the whole time.

2012-06-21 11:16:31 PM

TheJoe03: TheManofPA: So can anyone post the Lebron "One out of 3 ain't bad" picture just one last time. Guess it is going to be 2 out of 3.

1 out of 3 championships?

There's a fun picture of James that is basically: He wants to play in the NBA, win a title, and be better than Mario Chalmers. One out of three ain't bad.

2012-06-21 11:16:32 PM
They should get rid of the 3pt line.

2012-06-21 11:16:36 PM

Gunny Highway: So has Harden been exposed or is he just having a bad series.

The Thunder are still a few years and a player or two away. It isn't easy to win a title. All this shiat is good for these kids.

The Thunder are a few years away from either Harden or Westbrook playing for another team

Seattle people are worse than "Heat fans"

roflmaonow: phimuskapsi: Man Lebron is focused like a laser. Good move on his part to remind Wade it ain't over yet.

That was to Chalmers not Wade.

TY.

soaboutthat: Miller or Battier for MVP?

Lol, they've already got "LeB" carved on it.

2012-06-21 11:17:00 PM

Neeek: LeBron James is right now a better player than Jordan ever was at any point in his career. He's currently better than anyone has ever been. People who don't get that aren't paying attention.

I thought Crawford was the bald one.

2012-06-21 11:17:22 PM
You have to give it to the zebras. They are gonna homer this one right down to 0:00.

I thought when the Heat got up 20 the refs might have let up, and then come back in to take over the game if the Thunder got within 7.

But no.

2012-06-21 11:17:25 PM
Forgive me, I didn't want to watch this game at all. I figured either Miami would win and I didn't want to see that, or OK would win and then maybe I'd want to watch the last game or two of the series.

2012-06-21 11:17:40 PM
Don't fark with Jon Spolstra's hair.

Meh, you have to win, period.

/good teams win on the road
//give credit to Miami, they've played very goo and good D.

I really thought OK could win a game in Miami, which means they could get home court advantage back.

Me too, but they've had that deer in the headlights feel, nothing going their way, shots not falling, and I usually attribute that to good D. Give Miami credit, their bench really has stepped up.

Mike Miller in 17 minutes has as many points as Westbrook, Sef, Perkins, and Collinson combined.

robsul82: MJ won Defensive Player of the Year just to shut people up. Gotdamn.

Back when they gave the award to non-bigs. Seriously, 3.5 times the number of people under 6'10 won it in the first 9 years than in the 21 years since.

TheJoe03: redmid17: Jordan couldn't defend 4s.

Really? Do you even remember how basketball was back then? There is barely any dominant centers in the game and many 4's play like guards or small forwards now. Even with that, Jordan is still the better defender.

Interesting fact: Jordan never played against a dominant center in any of his finals. The Dream went back to back during Jordan's retirement.

nope. hoping that there's a curse (call it the stern/clay farks a city because stern/clay are douchenozzle curse) and that okc never wins a title in the next 15 years until the team relocates to another market. then maybe, just maybe...

Yes he did. However it's pretty obvious that Westbrook wants to be top dog somewhere and Harden is a RFA after next season. They won't keep both and their cap situation gets fairly precarious after a few years.

Yeah Westbrook is there. The decision will come down to Harden and Ibaka, and I'm sure they'll take Ibaka. 23 years old with a developing offensive game and a guy whos led the league in blocks 2 years in a row. He'll also be cheaper than Harden as well.

I think Harden gets in the neighborhood of 5 years/60 million from another team.

It still doesn't change the fact that Jordan couldn't physically match up to 4s and 5s the way that James can.

After the 3rd Quarter:

Thunder shooting 36.5%. Heat are at 55.9%. Thunder have shot 4 more free throws

I don't think I would use the word "exposed", but at the same time, he's not a max player/Top 10 at his position guy. Streaky shooter who can make a lot of hay drawing fouls on drives, but we're seeing that his game, at least right now, is very limited. Miami has been cutting off his drives effectively all series and he just keeps going back to that well.

2012-06-21 11:22:39 PM
Anyone still going on about refs, really...Heat have won almost every which way EXCEPT getting to the line tonight...Thunder still have the advantage there I believe.

It's not Jordan's fault the West couldn't get a dominant center into the Finals those years. His teams did beat, but struggled mightily, against Ewing, Smits, and the Shaqctus.

So you're saying that James would win it but the DPOY won't go to him because he's only 6-8? Seriously, his athleticism is amazing but he is not as good of a fundamental defender as MJ. He won't win it because he is not DPOY caliber.

Steve Buscemi will play Miller in the movie

So the sole fact that he is bigger makes him (as well as the fact that there was no need for a 2 to guard a 4 or 5 in the 90s) a better defender than Jordan? I can admit he is a better athlete but he is not a better player. This is my last post on the matter.
