Glenechocreek: Let's have the Washington Generals suit up as the OKC Thunder for tonight's game and see if anyone notices.

Wow, OKC had a great chance and they let role players drill two threes.

Nay.

Nothing is the only thing worth watching on ESPN.

Or Rachel Nichols.

How in the world do you let anyone block a 3pt shot. Honestly

2012-06-21 10:40:55 PM
The hell was Westbrook doing there...trying to intentionally foul James?

The 3s are going in plenty today.

But at least there you can attribute it to good D.

What's the excuse for 62% from the line from the NBA's leading free throw team?

There is none.

Weirdest no-call I've seen in a while.

The Thunder have no answer to the drive and dish.

This is how I thought we'd lose to the Spurs (except in more games).

Does anyone think LeBron fans are going to go for it and claim LeBron to be better than Jordan? I might put him over Pippen if he gets the title.

coolio mack: Gunny Highway: TheManofPA: bulldg4life: PTI is the only thing worth watching on ESPN. Yay or Nay.

I'd lean yes because they are the only ones who did admit when they are wrong first before talking about a new subject. They also admit when they are just plain guessing and don't shout over their guests.

I like Around The Horn

I've been a fan since the beginning of both of those shows, I can appreciate the humor they use to discuss their topics. Up until recently I watched First Take in the mornings, it corresponded with my morning schedule so I let it run in the background. I thought the Skip Bayless trolling was funny (though I see why a lot of people can't stand him) and they had some topics other shows wouldn't touch. But lately it's just been a screamfest so I've switched to Dan Patrick.

I'll back the ATH, but sometimes they get rather annoying because again, they don't really admit when they are balls-wrong. The Heat-Cs example was Games 1/2 HEAT ARE UNSTOPPABLE, Games 3-5 Heat are done, LeBron is cooked, and then HEAT ARE ULTRA AMAZING with barely any references to what they had said previous unlike PTI which acknowledges when they overreact to 1 game and stay level-headed most of the time.

I can have First take on in the background but you are spot-on about the spoutfest. It's also Tebow-central for all your Tebow news that's fit to Tebow.

I don't like comparing my favorite athlete to a womanizing gambleholic that took a year off so the heat could die down after his loansharks killed his father. I also doubt that during LeBron's HoF speech he'll bring schoolmates from high school to chastise, neglect to mention his 2 man that he couldn't win without, talk shiat about a front office that protected him, and tell his kids they'll never live up to him. fark Jordan.

2012-06-21 10:48:36 PM
Jawboning and a technical foul fest I think can only help the Thunder at this point. C'mon Chalmers, tell our bench about it again.

because it was nothing; he was holding onto him he basically threw his hand off...calm down KD it's finals and your boy Westbrook slammed into Lebron to no call at all..so no T is gonna get called for that shiat.

You're right. LeBron's stats are much better than Jordan's once you account for the fact that teams get about 10 less possessions per game now than when Jordan played.

If you've never read it, Sportsguy has him ranked rather approriately in his book. He is better than Pippen, and right now ranked 20th. I think one title moves him past Sir Charles and Malone easy and possibly Pettit at this exact moment. He needs more wins though to tackle: Julius Erving, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, and John Havlicek. If this holds, as much as I think something douchey is coming, he won this title with an alpha-dog style series.

Ok they'll be suspended for the next 3 games of the Series that ends tonight. Deal.

Look at Jordan's college stats and compare them with LeBron's NBA stats and then consider that LeBron put those numbers up against NBA players while Jordan did not.
It's not as cut and dry as many people think.

So, if Heat win, what is everyone's headline choice. I'm on the fence between:
"Newsflash" Mario Chalmers finally carries LeBron to his first title
or
Something LOTRish about a King returning to the thrown of man.

/still sad about it
//it was a hell of a fun time watching them fail
