Can ESPN3 play different commercials ever?

IAmRight gives underprivileged youth a new outlook on life while sweetly making love to their single mothers, reaffirming their faith in men so they can bring in a positive male role model.

Terrible last possession but getting the lead down to 10 was great work by the Thunder. FT are keeping em in it for now but I expect the shooting to get a lot better. Should be a great 2nd half.

If the Heat pull this out, I demand the largest Wizard ever in his robe and wizard hat for predicting Heat over OKC in 5 after game 5 of the Heat-Cs series. I was mocked and yelled out about how anyhow who watches basketball would know either the Cs would end them or OKC/Spurs would destroy them.

/it'll help with the sadness of the Heat winning

This game wouldn't be close if Mike Miller had his original legs.

SevenizGud: offensive fouls for the series thus far

OKC: 22
Miami: 4

they should definitely stop committing all those fouls.

GhettoWinter: I'm pretty new to NBA basketball. Is it always 2-3-2 for the finals? Playing three of the more important games in a best of seven series away from home does not seem like an advantage.

They switched it over about 10 (?) years ago? IAmRight would know. I guess it was supposed to alleviate all the travel if the series went to 7 games.

TheJoe03: GhettoWinter: Is it always 2-3-2 for the finals?

It's been that way for as far back as I can remember. People complain about it every year but the NBA seems stuck in their ways.

Yep, both on the "2-3-2 as long as I can remember" and "every year people say 'wait a minute, the lower seed just has to force a split and all of a sudden they have a huge advantage."

Which makes it worse that OKC hasn't won in MIami yet, it's the worst home court advantage of any playoff team in the league.

I'm all for going to 2-2-1-1-1 like the other rounds.

But would the thunder really want a home game in this stretch or games 6 and 7 in OKC?

Only down 10. Way to hang in the game

Someone else needs to show up for OKC

Thank you. I figured it was something like that given his over the top defense of officials.

Well played Koman Coulibaly. Well played.

Meh, I'm not biatching about the officiating, we just aren't playing smart and it seems like we can't handle the ball either.

Game 5, assuming that there hasn't been a sweep, is the biggest (aside from a possible game 7). To have won home court and play that game away is ridiculous.

robsul82: Someone should tell Gloria in the hallway that Delonte is not walking through that door.

She should be given a NBA title ring. This is the first time in 3 years that there are no rumors about either LeBron's mom or girl having sex with a NBA player and he was great. Basically all he needed to do was get engaged and keep his mom away from Greg Oden to be the player we wanted him to be.

Ship him back to Cleveland, give them all the vibrators in town so he can get them a quick title and let him become the actual champ up there.

Yeah, I don't understand why they do that. Ostensibly, it's to reduce travel in the Finals, but it doesn't really make sense here: OKC-MIA = 1223 mi, MIA-BOS = 1263 mi. Sure, there's no time-zone issues with the latter, but it's technically longer.

The NHL does 2-2-1-1-1, and no one's ever had a problem with it. Hell even this year, with Newark-LAX = 2452 mi, they had more trouble working around a Radiohead back-to-back than travel issues.

2012-06-21 10:27:29 PM
2-2-1-1-1 vs 2-3-2 would be less of an issue if OKC hadn't airballed 37 straight free throws in game 3.

When I did it, only Iamright was on the Heat side. I got slammed for stating that was my biggest fear by everyone stating how they were DONE. Just like ESPN, everyone will discuss how we knew it was Heat all along, but that was wizard.

And dangit TheJoe, I've been trying to bring this up for 3 straight games to jinx the Heat and it won't work. Iamright's disappearance is overriding me.

After OKC ended the Spurs I thought they would mop up whoever won the east. I remember when he called it and I thought he had gotten in to the moonshine again or gone slightly retarded or both.

I've been a fan since the beginning of both of those shows, I can appreciate the humor they use to discuss their topics. Up until recently I watched First Take in the mornings, it corresponded with my morning schedule so I let it run in the background. I thought the Skip Bayless trolling was funny (though I see why a lot of people can't stand him) and they had some topics other shows wouldn't touch. But lately it's just been a screamfest so I've switched to Dan Patrick.
