It might be cool to show up in it at school but the price would drain you. You'd wake up one day, realize you blew the money, and feel dumb.

Unlike their parents, Gen Xers/Yers aren't extremely nostalgic about their youth. Something that will help the solve the problems their baby boomers wrought on this great country.

I was the doctor a few months ago and he asked me the date of the something, and I was like "Well, I remember being in the car and they announced Kurt Cobain's death so ... what year was that?" .... and he's like "Who's Kurt Cobain" ... this guy was a bit younger than me. That was the exact date I realized I was old. I don't care if you listen to country or hip-hop, in '94 you know who Kurt Cobain was.

FTA: Kurt Cobain fans have their limit, and it appears to be $99,999.99.
Bids for 1972 Dodge Sportsman Van featuring a sketch of the band KISS done by the late grunge-rocker in an eBay auction failed to meet an unpublished reserve price that is reportedly $150,000.

What the fark does $99,999.99 have to do with anything? The author does realize there's more than a penny difference between that and $150,000.00, right??

Time to visit the old stomping grounds.

It's a Friday night in early October. Prime drinking weather. If you take the Chinatown bus and get on the PATH...it will cost you $25 bucks tops.

If I am in town I will probably go.

Teenager draws KISS faces on POS van is very different than some moron paying $150,000 to have the POS van that some teenager drew KISS faces on.

Baby Boomers are needy, self-indulged brats, who think just because they lived through the 60's that they had a direct hand in shaping America.

I drive a van.

I never thought I would. I always thought vans were for stoners or fat people, and I'm neither.

After several trips with my fiancee, and an inflatable mattress, and plenty of pillows, I can say that I am now a fan of vans. I love my van. It is transportation, lodging, and privacy. It is awesome. Do not come a'knockin'.

Lets see scrap iron is down to like $8 per hundred, and I got about $700 out of a van like that when steel was up around $15 per hundred, so that means its worth about $350

No way this van is worth 150K$. but if the seller had been a bit less greedy and put it on eBay, I expect he would have done ok. And sometimes if a bidding war starts, who knows what will happen. Won't happen now....
/oops

Gene Simmons should buy it for $50K and put it in a museum. Seriously.
