Hello from the future. It's 2079 and the world is still around. There has been a monumental change in.... I can't tell you or it will affect your timeline. Will call in two years......

Meh, what does it matter, the witnesses are gonna lie, the defendant is gonna lie, the vicim is gonna ...um...lay? runs.

Any news on Generalissimo Francisco Franco?

2012-06-21 10:18:54 AM
Let's just get this out of the way.

Trayvon Martin was a punk ass negro thug.
Trayvon Martin didn't deserve to die.

Zimmerman is a piece of shiat that shot Trayvon Martin in self defense.
Zimmerman is an American hero.

2012-06-21 10:21:01 AM
Zimmerman's attorney is attempting to pollute any potential local jury pool. Shall we start a pool on when he will request a change of venue?

2012-06-21 10:21:14 AM
Bob Dylan Zimmerman should write a song about this.

2012-06-21 10:21:19 AM
If you watch the two Zimmerman clips:

Prior to being punched, Zimmerman says he was mistakenly reaching for his cell phone in his pants pocket (it was actually in his jacket).

Then in the next clip we find out it just so happens his gun was exactly at that location.

All this happened prior to any fight.

I'll wait for the autotuned remix to come out.

I'm not going to even conjecture if Zimmerman is guilty or innocent because it really doesn't matter. Every decade or so, a sacrifice has to be made to the black community. The Rodney King jury refused to make that sacrifice and look what happened. Things have been quiet since then, this is the perfect firestorm for things to explode. Obama is about to be turned out of office. That's going to piss off a lot of African Americans and Hispanics. At about the same time, the jury will be making its decision in the Zimmerman case. They have to find him guilty and put him away for some length of time. I think the LA Riots cost an estimated $1 billion in damages and stolen property. I'm sorry but Zimmerman's life and freedom are not worth a billion. He's going to have to bite the bullet on this one and do some serious time.

Maybe his defense team should release a "X Days Since Our Client Has Lied To The Judge" sign.

I've got a foot in both camps on this. Sure, Zimmerman shouldn't have gotten out of his car, and probably shouldn't have shot him, whether Trayvon was hitting him or not. On the other hand, going by the school suspension for drugs and the thug life Facebook photos, I don't exactly think humanity lost one of its brightest stars when Trayvon was killed. I'd be all for putting a bullet in Zimmerman and calling this whole thing a wash.

I, for one, am outraged. The things that are happening relate to me on a very personal level and the way they are happening outrage me. This is outrageous. Outrage.

Have not watched the clip, but if the prosecution can argue that ZImm's was percieved as going for his gun, doesn't SYG now give Trayvon the right to deadly force, and therefore nullify Zimm's attempt to use SYG?

2012-06-21 10:30:06 AM

9beers: I've read his statement to police, listened to the interviews and watched his reenactment of events. I must be missing these huge inconsistencies in his statements the prosecutors were telling us about.

Fun fact, Zimmerman said in his statement that Trayvon was "looking into homes". Guess he was casing houses after all.

Funny that he didn't mention that while on the phone with the dispatcher.

2012-06-21 10:30:34 AM
I'm glad the mods finally approved a Zimmerman thread so we can exhaustively and in detail discuss the specifics of the case.

1. Zimmerman specifically ignored the precise instructions of the dispatcher and pursued Trayvon "Crack Rock" Martin.
2. Trayvon Martin, high on purple drank and white guilt, said "I'm a get this jive turkey fool" and savagely attacked poor George.
3. Trayvon, sensing he could not defeat this Mexican wrestler - a master of the Luche Libre, got up to run away.
4. George "The Zimmerman Telegram" Zimmerman shot him in the back much like the Telegram which conspired to do the same to our nation.

Believe most prevailing straw polls around here agree both of the top statements are likely some degree of true, and both of the bottom statements are some degree of false.

As has been noted thousands of times in these threads... it could be that both of them acted legally under the law, and the law allows killing people if both parties act sufficiently stupidly.

It is seriously hard to tell what percentange of your posts are trolling and/or just straight up batshiat insane rambling (Though they are 100% entertaining). But I agree on one thing. there's some damning evidence that the prosecution hasn't disclosed to the public yet. yesterday after they finished their internal investigation they fired the police chief who let Zimmerman walk that night. Zimmerman has already proven himself to be a liar. And he has a violent history. And a history of profiling black kids in the neighborhood. Plus his story changed several times. And in the end it doesn't jibe with the facts that we do have. I refuse to believe that Trayvon attacked him as he was headed back to his truck. I don't see him as someone who would give up the chase like that. not after he had gotten out of the truck and pursued on foot that far. Not after his proclamation that these "assholes always get away"

Martin, he said, put his hand over Zimmerman's mouth and nose and told him, "You're going to die tonight."

"When I slid, my jacket and my shirt came up, and when he said, 'You're going to die tonight,' I felt his hand go down my side, and I thought he was going for my firearm, so I grabbed it immediately, and as he banged my head again, I just pulled out my firearm and shot him."

When he did, he said, Martin, who had been on top of him, fell away and said, "All right. You got it. You got it." In another interview, he notes Martin might have said, "You got me."

When the riots go down, it's going to be great. Four years ago the American people were fooled into thinking that things had changed. When these people show their true colors, Americans will see that nothing has really changed. When voters go to the polls after the riots, they will rebuke this race pimp and "his son" and return our nation to its correct state. The liberals who only chose Obama out of their white guilt will see the wisdom of Real America and will not make this mistake again. We will have taken our country back!
