TFA has no mention of 3D that I could find.

That being said: ENOUGH WITH THE 3D BULLSH*T.

Hopefully it will be like Do the Right Thing set on Sesame Street (link pops, strong language)

Well, at least it isn't a reboot, prequel, sequel, or re-imagining.

...yet.

I loved Sesame Street as a child in the 70's, but I just don't see the need for this movie. Without Jim Henson behind it, I just don't see this movie being worthwhile. Plus, they will probably make it 3D just to sell higher-priced tickets, so no thank you.

I watched Sesame Street the other day, first time I've done that in a while. Super Grover still cracks me up.

Nah, 3D isn't going anywhere. Studios like that extra $3 per ticket too much. Luckily usually the movie is available in 2D as well. I think I would have had a seizure if saw The Avengers in 3D.

I'd get my hopes up for "The Monster at the End of this Movie," but the book is basically unfilmable.

Aren't kids in the target demo unable to sit still for more than a half an hour?

EvilEgg: Aren't kids in the target demo unable to sit still for more than a half an hour?

The show is already an hour long so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to make it essentially a 90-minute episode and charge us 10 bucks to see it.

If it is done similar to the Muppet movies it might be a fun movie.

After everything went Elmo, it seemed like the show was built for retards. There used to be some educational stuff on there. If I had kids, I'd refuse to let them watch any episodes beyond the late 80s. Sure as fark wouldn't let them watch Nick Jr. or Disney (Is there any Disney on Disney anymore?). That shiat'll give them brain damage.

It's disturbing to see a Sesame Street thread (at TFA) filled with teabagger trolls raging about Obama and "the liberals".

Seriously, if you have so much anger inside of you that you have to troll an article about a children's educational show, then you need to do some more looking inside yourself and figure out what your major malfunction is, because that's just f♥cked up.

My oldest daughter loves Follow That Bird. I am trying to teach her to love Big Bird and despise that red-colored monstrosity of a puppet, and so far its working.

I submitted a redded one last night with a "Monster at the end of this book" reference and wasn't sure if anyone was going to get it.

SUPER GROVER FOR THE WIN!

I couldn't find "Upside Down World" which is my favorite song, but this will do: Link

If anyone wants to stop absolutely despising Elmo, here's your one chance.
