Don't you mean store 2.0 professional ultimate edition RT series? Or they'll take a cue from their tablets division and name it after an existing product. MS DOS or something.

MS stores have a lot of XBox presence - something they don't compete with Apple on.

It'll be called Storefront 8, and feature a multitude of display case windows that show the products you want to use, but there won't be a convenient way to get to the damn things.

By the end of the year, the Harper government will make a request to install a second door in the back, leading to the customer information filing cabinet. But don't worry - It'll only be accessible by the RCMP, Parliament staffers, and anyone who pretends to be an employee of an ISP.

What the hell do they sell at a "Microsoft Store" anyway? Microsofts?
Most Farkers already have one.

Every two years they move the cash registers to the opposite wall and suddenly all their customers can't seem to figure out where they are?

Is this working out?

For me, Apple is for the Eloi, Windows for the Morlocks.

The Eloi need everything done for them, but it comes at a price. The morlocks take care of themselves.

Nothing more cowardly that admitting wholesale defeat and completely cloning your competition. I used to love MS, but now I hope the fark themselves to death.

The Mall of America has a Microsoft Store right across from an Apple Store.

The only difference I could see was the logos.

You DO know how they came up with the whole Windows thing in the first place, right?

Explain that to the folks at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center... and be ready to duck.

Yes, but are they going to charge their customer's $99 to get into the new store just because it is "cooler" and more "hip"?

That's precisely what I'm talking about. Microsoft's business strategy has always been cloning their competition... most of their original ideas end up as flops.

That's smart of them.

The Xbox is the iDevice of the living room.

I need an MS-DOS 3.3 (5.25" 'floppy") disk to boot my Apple ][+.

Pathetic. They have the strategic mindset of a typical Chinese company.
