groppet: I know the networks want ratings but FFS it's more trouble than its worth to have these people around.

Something the McCain campaign learned far too late.

gimmegimme: Maybe the reality show will explain the big question: where is the baby's father? Children need both a father and a mother and I'm worried little Tripoolig is missing out a healthy, normal childhood.

Given what I've seen of that family, the little bastard never had a chance.
He'll be part of the second wave of Icy Hot Stuntaz.

Mugato: Freudian_slipknot: While I know we like to think we've grown as a culture, Bristol Palin's reality show kinda proves that we're still willing to shell out the coin to visit the freak show when it rolls into town. At least back in the circus days the stars were aware of why they were on display...

I never thought we've grown as a culture. shiat just in the last ten years the number of insipid reality shows has grown tenfold. It's not like we always watched high art but Jesus, this reality show and karaoke shiat has just taken over. It's the Roman Colosseum all over again.

I would give good money to see these reality stars fight to the death.

bulsd: To all the Farkers making jokes about names:

Continue on! I am now proud dad bulsd! We had a little girl and named her Sophie.

I'm sure there are jokes about that too, and I'm not doubting some of you here will. But it's definitely a good name.

A very good name, unless she balloons in highschool and everyone starts calling her Sofa, of course. Just saying. But I like that name. And congrats.

A whole heaping of this -

Also stick to traditional spellings, don't make your precious snowflake spell their name for everyone they meet for the rest of their lives.

scottydoesntknow: Diogenes: Girl's a worse AW than her mother.

Yep, and she bugs me so much more because every damn time I see a commercial for this crap it's "I hated being in front of the cameras telling it like it is, so now I'm going in front of the cameras to tell it like it is!" Just admit you're an attention whore and move on.

Oh, she's totally mastered the "biatch about the things I'm exploiting" tactic of Mom's.
