Sounds like the kind of place where they think Obama was really born on Mars, and that Reagan was the Second Coming, and only the Chosen Few recognized Him for who He was.

To be clear, the aborted fetal tissue used to make Pepsi's flavor chemicals does not end up in the final product sold to customers, according to reports

Oh.
Then I don't particularly give a sh*t.

While the story is pretty much fear-mongering journalism, Senomyx does exist, the do make "taste receptor-based assay systems" based off of HEK293 (human embryo kidneys from electively aborted fetuses), and PepsiCo is one of their clients. Link

My two favorite parts:

the Obama Security and Exchange Commission (SEC)

LOL

and this gem:

The issue began in 2011 when the non-profit group Children of God for Life (CGL) first broke the news about Pepsi's alliance with Senomyx, which led to massive outcry and a worldwide boycott of Pepsi products.

Yep. I'm sure Pepsi was crippled by this massive outcry and worldwide boycott.

Uh, no. If you read the Wikipedia article it discovered the "taste receptor-based assay systems" by studying the HEK293 cells. Then used that discovery to test it's additives. It doesn't say that it uses fetal tissue in it's additives.

The one where you implied that the article wasn't total bullshiat because the company exists and they actually used some cells that can be traced back to a fetus aborted in the 1970's to discover a protein that they make synthetically to test conventional chemical additives?

Yes, obviously I did.

That's really too bad, I was really looking for a new type of drink that would make me feel younger and smarter, and I think aborted fetal tissue is a good idea. Sure beats this coconut water.

It sounds an awful lot like you are projecting, now, rather than accepting the mistake and moving on.

The only implication in my comment was that the story was scare-journalism. The rest was just facts. Try not to be so over-sensitive and you won't see so much implication and you'll make less of an ass of yourself.

Ah, so much derp in one sentience. Sorry for the butt-hurt you are feeling, but people on the Internet can't read your mind. All they can see is what you write. If you failed to make that clear, that's your problem.

People worried about making an ass out of themselves would probably try to keep from making wild over reactions to people replying to their poorly expressed posts.

Adding tonnes of aborted fetal cells can't be that expensive, can it?

I just wish Pepsi wasn't so stingy with the fetal parts. You have to drink almost 4 bottles of the stuff to absorb enough dead-baby power to make even the simplest curse on your mother-in-law effective.
