notto: I missed the part that showed it was candidate campaign contributions that was used to pay for this. You know subby, candidate campaign contributions are not the only source of income used to fund activities that support a candidate.

Because It doesn't say that. They now all of a sudden hate the "Free speech" of Citizen United ruling if it helps any Democrats.

Why can't they spend the money on strippers at a B&D club like the family value Republicans do?

"During a February RNC trip to Los Angeles, a $1,946.25 tab was racked up at Voyeur, a West Hollywood nightclub that features topless dancers and has been a hangout for Lindsay Lohan and other celebs," the New York Post writes ... Voyeur features a net suspended from the ceiling where topless women perform, and a glass booth with even racier performances, according to reviews."

That people are willing to whore themselves out for a political campaign shows just how bad the Bush economy is.

Neither of the representatives agreed to give their names, but two protesters said they were getting paid to stand outside of the rally, though their wage is unclear: one said she was getting $7.25 per hour, while another man said they were being paid $17 per hour.

I call horse shiat. This sounds like something the RoMONEY campaign would come up with. Hire protestors to protest RoMONEY events, and accuse the other team of using hired protestors.

And of course, the media would eat this right up and propagate it.

Typical Rovian Turd Blossomin'

"Meanwhile, about 50 feet away, another protest had been organized by local Democrats in conjunction with the Obama campaign. A campaign official told BuzzFeed they had nothing to do with the other group - which he said he believed they had been sent by the labor-backed "Good Jobs Now" - and confirmed that they were being paid."

How do you know it was the DNC or Obama's campaign where did it say this in the article exactly?

yeah, that's what I thought. So then your statement of me saying "The Republicans do it too" actually make no sense at all.

Because A) We don't know if the Democrats did it and B) what the Republicans did was a lot worse.

It is lame to pay people to protest. That's it. You can be a man and say "yep, that's lame" and then get into it with people going off on Obama about this or whatever or you can be a little weasel and deflect deflect deflect, claim its no big deal, deflect deflect Republicans do this very different thing deflect deflect seriously I have no issue with this deflect deflect NO PROOF IT WAS DEMOCRATS WHO DID IT.

Meh, I tend to assume that people protesting candidates are worthless douchebags with nothing of value to say anyhow, so I can't say this really affects me one way or the other.

I mean, protesting issues at the workplace of the people actually currently making the laws is legit, but following job applicants around harassing them personally with signs is just being an asshole with too much time on your hands. It's legal, yes, but you're still an asshole. Goes for the people being dicks at both candidates... yes, we get it, you have opinions, we just don't care what your opinions are because you're a bunch of dicks.

//At least Obama tries to encourage his supporters not to be rude, Romney seems to be almost scared of his. Albeit, he's not scared without reason, the religious retards are notoriously fickle in their support.

Yeah, cause that happened!

Or you could give to the DNC and support giving money to a society of people who feed on newborn babies and torture kittens like I just made up a story about the DNC leadership doing!

/ what im trying to say is.... perhaps a non-biased, non-made up citation that actually ties this allegation to the RNC organization would help me understand your tangent forcing post.

"that person (Meyers) was aware that this activity was not eligible for reimbursement and had been previously counseled on this very subject. Accordingly, that staff person has been terminated."

So the "bigwigs" terminated her for misconduct..... just sayin

I would murder many people to get a $17/hour job. I got laid off from a job only paying $15/hour and I was doing a job that used to belong to three different people.

What is this I don't even

So maybe possibly somebody paid somebody, and that somebody is alleged to be Democrats by the people who claim they were paid, who could be really stupid Democrats or really clever Republicans trying to set up Democrats to look stupid. Or maybe it's Democrats hoping that people allege it's Republicans trying to make Democrats look stupid so the Republicans look stupid. Because I know what I read, but if they know I know what I read, and I know they know that they know I know, then what do we really know?

fark it, I'm going to go to my old fall back in situations like this and just blame Martians.

While I think it was kind of stupid to do, it was done in response to the Romney campaign sending hecklers to Obama campaign stops. I think a more effective route would be to give the Romney plants all sorts of attention and expose their classless actions rather than do them yourself. Whoever is running President Obama's re-election campaign is not all that smart. I could do a LOT better job and I never worked in the field.

This is all massively confusing. Why are they getting paid drastically different amounts? Confirmed who was being paid by whom? Between the "facts" of the case and the crappy writing I'm not sure what's going on.

The one being paid $7.25 per hour was a woman.
