Doubt it.

I'm pretty sure it would be a violation of several international laws to put Neil Munro in his proper place.

I love the racism in it. Whites are still superior, even as immigrants. And Munro's path to citizenship? He married one.

Munro and his defenders deserve an epic cockpunch.

Tucker Carlson still doesn't understand the difference between "asking a question" and making an accusation (Mr President, how often do you beat your wife)?

Wow, a lifetime in the most expensive prep schools money can buy just doesn't provide the education that it used to. Then again, perhaps one can only apply so much polish to an innately dull intellect.

2012-06-19 03:51:36 PM
What Neil did was wrong and inappropriate.

However it is stupid for the Hill to refer to "foreign workers" as race-baiting.

Remember when it was honorable to serve your country, unless you have one of those sissy purple hearts like John Kerry?

Remember when it was disrespectful to go after someone's kid, unless it's that thuggish Malia?

Remember when spending increasing amounts of money was a bad thing, unless the military does it?

Conservatives have elevated double think to an art form.

I'm still in favor of deporting this foreigner for disrespecting the Office of the Presidency and the government it stands for. He exploited the immigration system by marrying an American woman so he could abuse our tax-payer provided benefits. Send his rear back! It doesn't matter which party is in power, if folks didn't accept the shoe at Bush why should they accept this blatant insult to Obama?

FTFA: "Our polarized, uncivil state also stifles our ability to talk openly and honestly about racism in America."

Isn't this the radical Republicans' end game?

///If something isn't able to be talked about openly, it can be hidden, which is kind of the point of the whole exercise

2012-06-19 03:56:07 PM
But somone threw a shoe at Bush after he invaded their country, unleashed a bloodbath that killed a hundred thousand people, all based on lies about an attack by some disgruntled Saudis.

And you libby libs didn't call for that guy to be waterboarded. So clearly anyone working for Tucker Carlson's blog can shout down the President while in the Rose Garden.

Total. Equivalence.

It was correct. Reality is very rude to the right, persecuting them and demonstrating they're wrong. How would you feel if someone followed you around all day, constantly looking over your shoulder and screamed "WRONG. WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG!" every time you did something?

They are foreign. Are you saying that is a race? Which race? Chinese? (there are more Chinese immigrants coming to the US now than Hispanic).

1) What race is a company? Objecting to outsourcing isn't racist because the target doesn't have a race. Objecting to 'foreign-workers' -especially in immigration - generally refers to minorities. There's not a strong push to build a fence at the northern border to stop Canadian illegals.

2) people against putsourcing ARE often accused of something though - being either socialist or 'jealous' of the wealthy.

I don't think that was cool, I thought it was embarrassing for the country. But it also happened in a foreign country and was perpetrated by a foreign national. Neil Munro is an American citizen (an immigrant, even) and this happened in the farking Rose Garden. If you don't think that's bad for the country, then I don't know what to tell you.

"journalism worthy of a White House press pass"

More than a mite pretentious to call covering the #1 source of political theater in the USA "journalism".
Journalism is doing your homework and then asking hard and uncomfortable questions, not regurgitating the carefully prepared think tank twaddle that the press secretary dishes out to the public.

Objecting to outsourcing is racist because people imply that those foreigners don't deserve the jobs as much as Americans do.

2) people against putsourcing ARE often accused of something though - being either socialist or 'jealous' of the wealthy.

or being racists because they don't believe that those people deserve jobs more than Americans do.
