qsblues: Just Another Story by Jamiroquai
JoePiscopoJr.: Soul Coughing- Super Bon Bon
EyeballKid: Michael Anthony stares off into space, scratches his head, unable to grasp the intricate nuances by Mr. Rocket(t?) and opts for "Runnin' with the Devil."
tartie_pants: Higher Ground
Thats_Not_My_Baby: Can someone please explain to me what made the bass guitar played on the Violent Femmes first album sound so unique/odd?
RexTalionis: What, no Under Pressure?
busy chillin': Another fantastic soul coughing bass groove...almost all of them have good ones, but this is one of my favorites:
Your Average Witty Fark User: Wait a second...No Rush.No Primus. No Orion, or anything else by the Cliff Burton era Metallica.WHAT.THE.FARK.This list is so bad, I wouldn't even wipe my ass with it.

Mr_Fabulous: This thread has 432 replies, and not one single mention of "Sympathy for the Devil"?God. Damn.
bighairyguy: Blood & Roses, that is all.
farkeruk: But how the hell do you not have Good Times by Chic? Listen to Sugarhill Gang's Rapper's Delight (that lifted it) and the whole damn thing is that bassline. Farking heresy.
Deadwing: Kim Mitchell's Go For SodaLink
miltonbabbitt: Cake "Wheels"LINK
Night Night Cream Puff: tartie_pants: Higher GroundI'll second that mention for one of the best. Still one of my favorite openings to a RHCP song. It's been mentioned before (I think), but it needs to be brought up again. The biggest red flag that should have been raised was when you see that there's a pic of Flea at the beginning of the article but not one RCHP song in her list. Epic fail...While I may like a some of those songs on the list I wouldn't go so far as to say they had the "Mightiest Bass Lines." I think she would have been better served with a title of "My Favorite Bass Lines for the Hipster Wannabe."Under Pressure is still my all time favorite (Another One Bites the Dust is #2 from Queen for me)./don't play bass, just know what I like
Handsome B. Wonderful: no Muse "Hysteria" = no care
