RexTalionis: What, no Under Pressure?

The only valid reason for leaving this off the list is if they say up front that all non-morons agree it's the greatest, and what follows is a list that goes from 2 - 11.

it's more like random crap, compared to songs with really good bass lines in them. not a single one of those songs should be on that list.

The bass that is not on that song is better than the bass that is on most of the songs on that shiat list.

SilentStrider: GAT_00: I also realized listening a few times it's a steampunk rewrite of 2112.

it shares some themes with 2112, but I wouldn't call it a re-write. The protagonist in this case has an entirely different fate.

This is turning in to a Rush hijack thread.

/yes, I have been listening to the album non-stop, too.

I always thought the bass line from "Some Days Are Better Than Others" off of U2's Zooropa is some of Adam Clayton's finest work. "With or Without You" is more instantly recognizable, but "Some Days" has a sort of comical groove to it that resonates with me.

How about Brick House? EVERYONE knows that one is legit.

Also haven't seen Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" mentioned.

I see Yes has been covered here, but there is no Grand Funk on that list. List fails.
