He wanted to veto something else called the DREAM act?

Wow, T-Paw. Wow.

It's universal healthcare all over again.

"I'm steadfastly against this and will repeal it until such a time as I'm the one proposing it!"

FTFA: His views shifted in April, however, when he expressed support for the DREAM Act, saying the Republicans need to propose a GOP version of the bill and other initiatives to win support from Hispanic voters.

'a GOP version of the bill...'
Hmm, like maybe the DREAM Act that was introduced by Orrin Hatch?

The order Obama gave to the justice department on immigration?

Its based from the GOP version of the DREAM act

The Cream Act sucked. Most of the models weren't even teens and the money shots looked faked.

I'd have loved to see the Cream act back in the day - 1967. I hear that Jack and Ginger hate each other so much that they only lasted one "reunion" tour date in 2005.

Shame really. They've left millions sitting on the table because of their petty dislike for each other.

The CREAM Act is great. I think we should help encourage bringing more foreign dairy products into this country. We are a mixing pot, after all.

One of these days even a toad like Pawlenty is going to have to recognize that we've come to a crossroads in determining how political discourse will be shaped for years to come. In Cream DREAM we have a policy that has bipartisan approval, but he can't just acknowledge that without adding at least a spoonful of divisive, partisan rhetoric. This is only going to get worse, I feel. Free acknowledgement of positive acts by one's political opponents should be encouraged, without fear that your party leadership is going to toss you in a white room with rubber padded walls.

The problem is, they support the act, but hate that passing it now would give the credit to Obama. the result is they must oppose it, but be in favor of passing it when they get the full credit for it.

Party before Country, is pretty much the GOP motto these days.

Also FTA (bolding mine): "...in other settings and times he would be willing to allow a pathway to legal status for children no are in this situation. For example, if they serve in the military and are honorably discharged. As it relates to the issue of children and through no fault of their own are under that circumstance, he said I'm open to try to explore or consider a permanent solution and I think these a reasonable gesture on his part"

Other settings being those that Obama didn't have a hand in, by any chance? The argument has basically come down to "Obama went too far by not going far enough!"

Which explains their opposition to ObamaCare - the fact that his name will be more or less permanently attached to it.

I can't wait to see them lose their sh*t when a future Democratic Congress starts naming buildings and other things after him.

Obama was student #1 of Clinton's school of politics. Can we please start having some real progressive movement in this country? Well, I suppose anything left of Grover's GOP is progression. Hm. I suppose Grover has his own idea of progression. Into the bathtub, close the shower curtain and have gay sex with the corpse.

If you ask Mitt Romney how he feels about an issue, you unavoidably change how he feels about the issue.
