(MyWay News)   I know we all want to know about what sandwich Romney orders at WaWa, or how often Obama golfs, but Israel and Egypt are prepping for war. Not that it matters next to meatball sandwiches   (apnews.myway.com) divider line 158

Hey subby, if we're to elect someone to be President, we'd better damn well know what kind of sandwich the man eats.

2012-06-18 12:15:08 PM
He might even put dijon mustard on his meatball sandwich.

2012-06-18 12:21:06 PM
What kind of cheese? Was it provolone? And most importantly, was it imported?

2012-06-18 12:42:03 PM
I just had a sandwich that had arugula in it. I guess I'll never be President at this rate.

2012-06-18 12:47:06 PM
Whoa, hang on. What kind of golf handicap does "Whoever is running things in Egypt" have?

2012-06-18 12:54:23 PM
I bet the new Egyptian president don't eat no Arugula.

2012-06-18 01:05:08 PM
It really is important to note that the reason Egypt and Israel are preparing for war is because of a disagreement over what flavor of hummus going better on a pita.
Bringing those things to light in the media sooner helps prevent us from making the same mistakes they did.

make me some tea: I just had a sandwich that had arugula in it. I guess I'll never be President at this rate.

Was it homegrown free American grown arugula, or evil socialist Nazi fascist grown arugula?

There is a difference after all.

2012-06-18 01:14:20 PM
I'm guessing that Romney ordered the ham and cheese on white bread, and then picked the cheese slices out because dairy isn't really his thing.

It wasn't organic, so probably American.

I 'm surprised that Egypt is so anxious to get their butts kicked again.

2012-06-18 02:14:12 PM
A recent poll found that less than 5% of Americans eat arugula on a daily basis, while over 90% of Americans eat meat on a daily basis.

I think this just goes to show how elitist the President is, and how down to earth Romney is.

2012-06-18 02:25:58 PM
to be fair, Egypt and Israel engage in war about as frequently as the two former things in the headline happen.

2012-06-18 02:26:33 PM
More importantly did he get the WaWa iced tea or lemonade? That shiat is the bomb yo

I'm pretty sure they are NOT prepping for war.

A war between Israel and Egypt would destroy BOTH their countries.

vernonFL: I'm pretty sure they are NOT prepping for war.

There is nothing in the TFA that would suggest the Egyptian military is prepping for any such conflict. They more than have their hands full clipping the wings of the Muslim Brotherhood domestically right now. They aren't terribly interesting in a war over the Sinai. They talk about foreign infiltration to be sure, but they aren't interesting in picking a fight with Israel right now. It would be counterproductive.

Romney removes the cheese from his pizza, and he's not even lactose intolerant. What percent of Americans do THAT?

Carter was incredibly smart but a feckless President.

/But SUCH a humanitarian, Still. Love him personally, but thought he was a mediocre President with one great accomplishment.

//Obama hasn't impressed me and I voted for him. But I probably will again because I have a hard time voting GOP. I am a Libertarian but don't want to waste my vote and after Bush just can't vote GOP for a while.

Meanwhile Obama is talking to Russia about Syria while Israel is telling Iran "go ahead hit me" This is why I hate Israel. Why Israel? WHY? What's your problem? Just go sit the fark over there.

It would be like inviting your nosy neighbors over for dinner after a Superbowl party. I guess everyone could just have meatball sandwiches in the last clean room of the house.

Just had a thought though, the nosy neighbors would love to come over to the house just after the game. Just to see how disordered your house really is.

lol, Israeli math...

Article title: Militants cross into Israel from Egypt, 1 killed

Second sentence: One of the Israeli workers was killed, and two assailants died in a gunbattle with Israeli troops responding to the attack.

That would make 3.

Then...

Fourth paragraph, first sentence: Several hours after the attack, an Israeli airstrike killed two men riding a motorcycle in the northern Gaza Strip near the Israeli border.

We're up to 5 dead now.

How many were killed in The Holocaust again? Bet you said 6 million unless you looked it up.

F wawa. That is all.

Egypt is disintegrating, and the revolution is about to turn into a full-blown military coup. Syria is cracking down on a civilian uprising with the Kremlin supporting its dictator, while NATO threatens military action.

But yeah, who committed an unintentional gaffe today? How badly can we take it out of context?

2012-06-18 04:36:48 PM
They're preparing for war...with the Muslim Brotherhood. Israel and Egypt are on the same side of this one.

I wonder if the Muslim Brotherhood could end up controlling all of North Africa*. That would get interesting in a hurry.

*except Eritrea and Ethiopia.

STOP EVERYTHING!.
Subby, are these meatball sammiches made with Provalone or Mozzerella?
Toasted in an oven or baked?
Sprinkled with Parmesean or not?
Peppers and onions or not?

We need more details.

Last year, we kept hearing of imminent war between North and South Korea (or Japan, or whoever). Last few months we kept hearing of imminent war between Iran and Israel. We've heard "Wolf" cried out too often, and we don't really give a crap anymore. We'll believe two countries are at war when they actually begin the war.
