You know how I know you didn't read the article?

"A woman who refused to be fobbed off by a study suggesting horizontal stripes had a slimming effect..."


She did her own followup study and the results do not match the study you speak of.

I'm thinking about making a fighting outfit, with horizontal stripes on the arms, and vertical stripes on the torso. I wonder if it will disorient someone. I'll probably also make it gaudy colors in areas that don't have bits I don't want stabbed.
