Starting to? Where have you been for the past 200 years subby?

For every step forward science gives us, we lose something valuable in the myopia of modernity.


For example: mass production. It's great we can all have the same inferior goods for cheap, but that's just it: they're inferior.

A good ol' straight razor could last a man a lifetime or more and give him a shave thousands of times without a reduction in quality (provided upkeep) while a modern cartridge razor can barely give you a good shave more than ten times and quickly becomes crap anyway.

Or beer. Anyone who's ever home brewed knows just how much better it can be than canned shiat. Even bad home brew is usually much better than things like Budweiser and Coors.


And technology! Ha! We have more stress from the beeps and the boops and the constant input than we ever did back in the day. Sure, communication has become faster, letting fark itself exist. But the effect on things like the workplace have been vile.
