Republicans are ignorant, petulant, children who vote against their self interest and relish in making their life harder because.. umm,, socialism. Update #16,734

Wait, I thought they had a problem with his POLICIES?

There was no indication of who brought the outhouse and parked it outside the hotel where the convention was taking place

Real grown-up. GOPers

FTFA: Newt Gingrich was the featured speaker at the convention.

Apparently there were TWO things brought to the convention on wheels, rented by the hour, displayed anti-Obama rhetoric, and were overflowing with sh*t.

State GOP Chairman Will Deschamps said he didn't know who was responsible for the outhouse but called it a "sideshow," the paper reported. "It's not something I'm going to agonize over," he said. "Some of that stuff is not real good taste."

i'm sure he wouldn't "agonize over" it if the roles were reversed and it was a democratic affair with a mitt romney library.

glad subby knows how to differentiate between something officially sanctioned and something that happened in the nearby vicinity of the event.

They needed something that their audience would recognize as a bathroom for that joke to work.

When you hate science, you don't invent indoor plumbing.
When you don't have indoor plumbing, you poop in the woods.
When you poop in the woods, you use whatever you can find to wipe your ass.
When you use whatever you can find, you wipe your ass with a dead squirrel in the winter.

Don't wipe your ass with a dead squirrel. Vote for Obama!

May not be racist, but these are definitely critically thinking folks. Salt of the Earth types.

After the outrage over the discarded Bush head prop, it is a Game of Thrones indeed.

I think it's cute. Now that the Republicans have alienated broad swaths of voters (non-christians, non-whites, women, immigrants, homosexuals) they've moved on to offending and alienating voters one at a time.

Going to go out on a limb and suggest that if this part of the event is garnering a news article devoted to it, it has been upgraded from "sideshow" to "show" and you might want to agonize over it a little bit. Is this how you want to be portrayed? Is that kind of message the one you want to send to your constituents? Maybe you should say more about it than it isn't in good taste. Maybe say "Hey, guys, knock it off. There are legitimate reasons to be upset and there are appropriate ways to express it. This is childish, and that's not what we want to stand for. We're better than this." Maybe something along those lines.

But I guess you don't want to risk upsetting the people who will only vote for your side no matter what. Strange.

I find it ironic that these completely non-racist folks would attack President Obama's intelligence, particularly in light of the previous President. Bush was certainly not an intellectual heavyweight by any means.

//Remember when Karl Rove released Bush's insanely extensive "reading list"? That gave me a rare chuckle during the war criminal's regime.

The Romney for President campaign paid for the outhouse. The Romney campaign funded Gingrich's travel and lodging in Montana. In turn, Gingrich spoke at a $45-a-head fundraising breakfast attended by several dozen party faithful in Missoula early Saturday, Greenwood said.

Yet they will still get a fair share of the votes this fall. Some have gone off the derp cliff and others will vote R because they always vote R, no matter what R stands for.

My first apartment didn't look too bad. the roomie and I fixed it up as best we could, kept it very clean.

But walk in the kitchen at night, turn on the lights, and you'd see a dozen of cockroaches scurry away.

Electing the first black President turned on the lights in this country. We're discovering just how bad our problem with pests and vermin really is.
