In the event that Germany somehow collapses, a one-goal win by Denmark gives us Denmark-Germany advancing; a 2+-goal win gives us Denmark-Portugal. So regardless of what happens in the other game, Germany is safe unless they allow three goals in the last ten minutes.

Bender asks "what kind of party is this, there's no booze and only one goal" and solves the latter.

A Fark Handle: Lego_Addict: Wow your CR hatred is seething.

does anyone actually like the farking farkface anteater? he's like an international super-douchenozzle.

/like, not just think he's pretty or can kick a ball with some skill

I don't like his attitude at all but I don't hate him to the point that I'm going to place faults on him he doesn't have or is not responsible for. That doesn't make you better than him.

RminusQ: Some excellent teamwork there, and Germany looks to seal their 9 nein.

LOL facepalm footage of the Dutch players and fans.

Some slight offsides at both ends of DEN/GER there.

Did the Dutch make any of their subs?

I don't doubt it! :)

Good win for Portugal though, exciting game, end to end.

While that killed my bracket, I hope that Germany pastes Greece and the Czechs somehow beat Portugal. The diving and whining is unbearable and Greece is frustratingly boring. Bring on Croatia Spain tomorrow (and go Croatia)!

How great the Dutch suckage in this tournament was, to allow Ronaldo to run wild through their defense.

Portugal used all 3 subs. The Dutch used none....NONE. Three more fresh players on a pitch makes a world of differance. Terrible managing.

At least one Pole can play under pressure.

Too bad he's on the German team...

Just watched the game

Man that was painful. Germany looked great from the start, but seemed to lose interest after Denmark evened it up. Thank Moses for Bender in the end. Didn't record the other match, but seems like it was exciting.

Just realized....

Since the Euro went to a group stage format in 1980, only ONCE has the the World Cup runner-up from the World Cup prior advanced from the group stage in the Euro two years later (if the World Cup runner-up was from Europe)

1978: Holland fails to make it out of the 1980 group stage
1982: West Germany fails to make it out of the 1984 group stage
1986: West Germany makes the semifinals
1990: World Cup runner up (Argentina) was Not European, so N/A here
1994: Italy gets bounced in the group stages at Euro '96
1998: see 1990 (Brazil)
2002: Germany bounced in the Euro 2004 group stages
2006: France bounced out at the Euro 2008 Group stages
2010: Holland bounced out at the Euro 2012 group stages

So if the World Cup runner up in 2014 is from a UEFA nation, it does not bode well for them at Euro 2016

Can't decide if France or Germany is the best team so far.

Ronaldo almost looked unstoppable today.

I wanted Portugal to lose, but at least I can use this for one more match:

I was wearing my Germany jersey around yesterday and got "DEUTSCHLAND!" shoutouts from 6 people. I should wear jerseys more often. Feel like a celebrity.

Also I was without phone and internet all weekend, so I missed the entertaining Fark commentary. :(
