Yes, but will the face of Jesus be etched into the tortilla or will I still be forced to buy those on ebay?

This is stupid tech. 3D printing is the future. Build a device to make me a chimichanga or at least a Cinnamon Twist.

FTFA: All the ingredients - rice, meat, salsa, and molten cheese - will be printed onto the surface of a tortilla

They lost me with no chile. red, green, christmas, or GTFO.

If you can make a machine to fold the burritos and wrap them you could get rid of the stoners behind the counter at Freebirds and make the place a whole lot better.

/I don't trust places that choose Pepsi.
//It's a bad omen

People who chose Pepsi over Coke do so for 2 reasons I can possibly think of:
1. The Dew, or
2. They're cheap as fark.

#1 is okay, #2 is a sign of poor management.

And when this becomes cost effective enough to put 20,000 taco bell employees out of work, what then? Certainly doesnt take 20,000 taco bell skill level people to build and maintain these burritobots.

Look in the comments, there is a video of a burrito machine filling and wrapping the burritos automatically.. the filling mechanism looks really nasty tho.

So anything that squeezes stuff onto other stuff is a 3D printer now? Cool, I have one in my drawer!

How is this any different?

Great, now I can print the perfect smiley face cross section onto my burrito. Never mind that there would be no way to eat it that shows the image. I'd have to flash freeze the thing and cut it in half while it's an ice block.

Come to think of it, that might make for a cool gimmick of animation: frozen, printed burrito stop-motion movies.

The Pizza machine that makes a whole pizza, including the dough is more impressive.

Saw how they assemble it on "How it's Made"

This is really makes the idiot kid at taco bell less likely to screw up your order, he sets a tortilla in and out comes a finished burrito

Now how much longer before there's a college cafeteria in a metal box

Two jobs ago there was a random printer in a different building which I used to change the message on periodically. Just a printer chosen at random used by people I did not know who probably wondered why their printer was weird.

They cost $489 at Staples. You'll run out of beans first, but you have to throw away the whole cartridge. It's actually cheaper just to buy a whole new burrito printer for the starter beans it comes with.
